16th level eh, Let me just ask you one thing. . . How many adventures you did to find money instead of magic items to build this castle? You hit a spot there! I can tell you this: the largest amount of concentrated money I've managed to find at once was 5000gp, treasure of a Hextorian warlor...

The stronghold's builders guide is IMO on of the best and most useful products from WoTC I have bought. It is not suited for Ravenloft, I give you that, but for the generic D&D world with magic being a common tool, the rules are: Efficient, realistic, simple It has many very useful tables and i...

Greetings dwellers of the Mists It has been some time... After nine months I decided to stop hybernating and feel the warmth of the forthcoming summer :) I'm glad to see that the Cafe keeps its high standards :) All creatures, as twisted and corrupted they might be, are by nature capable of loving. ...

Are the 100 plastic zombies all standard unpainted cookie-cutter board game pieces? Or do they look good? What size are they? i.e. are they swipable for a standard D&D game using minis? The zombies are about 1 inch tall, grey plastic but quite detailed. I've painted a couple of them and they lo...

Zombies!!!

Today I played the most addictive non-RPG, non-PC game ever: Zombies!!! It's a post-end-of-days kind of game where zombies are littering the streets in an ala Resident Evil way and you are trying to escape their hunger... or kill the more you can... This sweetie comes with 100 (!!!!!) plas...

It's all about the evil that men do! Ravenloft is fed by people's weaknesses and lack of self control, twisted minds with wicked desires and corrupted souls commiting foul acts. I'd like to see some more - I think I'll try to contribute for such an issue... I'd also need someone to write up the ghos...

Honestly, I didn't view the RV being that confusing for everyone. I think that most people just didn't expect to see Ravenloft abbreviated in such a way. I think I caused quite a mess with this thread... ...nice... ...xe xe xe... ...tommorow night, I'll spread chaos to the rest of RPG funs... ...an...

It's based on a cross between the Deadlands , Savage Worlds , D&D , Orpheus , and the Window . Hopefully, the result will be simpler than the description would suggest. When (if) I get the bugs worked out, I'll post the basics on the Roleplaying Games boards for the Cafe and Monte Mal. x...

Actually, I am working on a cross-breed system,... That would be interesting... Is it to be shared with the rest of us in the near future or is it just an extension of your house rules (not for many people to see/use)? <beware when throwing out hints... I'm hungry for innovations...!> Sunstar

Re: RV we love - but in which edition?

Edit: What does RV even mean? ...hm... for a villain, it should mean Rough Vigilante for a vegetarian Ruined Vegetables (!) for poor Victor "Run Victor!" ...as for my players, it surely means RaVenloft an abreviation arising uneasiness anyway you see it... Note: RealLife RL has ...
