Re: When werewolves meet vampires

Actually I've decided that the my draugr can manifest in one of two ways: 1.) Someone suffering from lycanthropy dies before their first transformation. When the first lunar phase associated with their particular variety occurs, the body reanimates as the draugr. 2.) An animal feeds on the dead body...

Re: Hollow Pregnancy?

Loving all the ideas here. However, I do plan on her delivering something, and there will be two kids from the result.

For those curious about rules, I used an amalgam of "Mistfinder" 3.x materials, with more realistic firearms rules from one of the Netbooks on here.

Re: Hollow Pregnancy?

Zilfer: My argument against the idea of a Hollow person being able to conceive is based on the idea that if a person's own life can't be returned to them, why should they be able to make a new one? I.e. lacking a soul means a person is the very opposite of being a vessel for another soul, let alone ...

Hollow Pregnancy?

So after running my first Ravenloft campaign lasting more than 3 sessions, I've been at a cross-roads with where to start a sort of "Season 2" of the campaign. The final session ended in that border port between Nova Vaasa and Darkon (name eludes me), with a max HD doppelganger plant havin...

Re: When werewolves meet vampires

There was an episode of The Real Ghostbusters dedicated to this exact scenario. The results are far to awesome to describe. I am well awere (get it?) of that episode. However, the problem with that is that those were regular/Barovian vampires; which are untemplatable as lycanthropes. In Pathfinder,...

When werewolves meet vampires

So I've been a fan of the Ravenloft setting for some time, especially with the variations on creatures like lycanthropes (wererays are just too awesome an idea) and vampires. I find that the vrykolaka, among all the various strains of vampirism presented, interests me the most. Given the subject of ...

Re: Five elements (wood, water, fire, earth, metal) challeng

Bear in mind that my responses will be somewhat general as I've not really read up on the "Hexadventures" Fire - Maybe within one of the seats of Scaeva's opera house, since the place constantly reforms unburnt. Earth - A trek into the mountains of Keening sounds in order. Wood - How about...

Re: Religious Powers checks and non-deists

Wow, I'm glad to see this generated a decent amount of response. I should also clarify that I'm only a player in this game (Half-Vistani, Half-Forfarian monk with the martial artist archtype--Snatch much?). * The druid comes from dwarf outlander stock but was born in Darkon. We, as a group, a...

Religious Powers checks and non-deists

So in one game I play in, we have a druid. While refreshing myself with what sort of acts prompt a powers check, I noticed the section about things like breaking vows, tenets, and oaths. My question is, what would constitute what for a druid? Other than wearing prohibited armor (and what would that ...

Pathfinder Witch in Ravenloft

So one of my PCs wants to play as a witch, disguised as a cleric of Ezra (I pointed out more than once that it might be easier just to play as a cleric of Hala). Any ideas on what changes I should make/what hexes should call for powers checks? I've flat out declared the Evil Eye hex to be named some...

Stop the presses!

I'm afraid I'm going to have to bow out of this. As someone in here previously said, real life is a female dog. I just have too many things on my plate to participate now. I apologize profusely.
