Re: What haunted sites are in your neck of the woods?

The old Aker Church, the oldest building in Oslo dating back almost a thousand years is located on top of the Dragon's Holes silver mines, abandoned since the 12th century and said to be guarded by a sleeping dragon. ( I kid you not. ) I did a google search for the silver dragon in the silver mine ...

Re: Werewolf Alterations

I'm running my campaign in 2nd edition, and I discovered that I did need to make adjustments to the werewolves after one of the players became a lycanthrope. Instead of making her stronger, it was actually making her character weaker, and she was only at about level 7. So I gave the werewolves in my...

Re: Ravenloft waterways poject

I agree! The rivers and lakes of Ravenloft would be very fun to expand on. I've been using the rivers a lot in my current campaign for travel, as I've greatly increased the size of all the domains and it takes about ten days to walk through any of them. It's been very fun, but does have its own chal...

Re: Crowd-sourcing a Cluster

One thing I just thought of with regards to Mademoiselle Guillotine. . . If Mademoiselle Guillotine is every guillotine in Chelleaux, the very concept of a guillotine, what happens if somebody tries to take one of those inanimate guillotines across the border? Would the borders close? Would the guil...

Re: Crowd-sourcing a Cluster

I'm still very new to this site, but I love the crowd-source-a-cluster idea and I just added a couple of things to a few of the pages. This is what I added to Fallaya Basin http://www.fraternityofshadows.com/wiki/Fallaya_Basin Amongst the many inbred clans throughout Fallaya Basin are those claiming...

Re: New to the Forum? introduce yourself here!

Thanks for the welcome :azalin: Yes the Mistpedia is being extensively used. They characters in my game have free reign to travel to anywhere in Ravenloft, and I made a vow to myself to include as much of the official story as possible in this adventure. Not that i'm forcing the players to experienc...

Re: New to the Forum? introduce yourself here!

Hi, I've been running a campaign in Ravenloft for the last few months, and I've been loving mistpedia and the board. It's hugely cool seeing how many of the creators are still involved with this series. All my experience in Ravenloft has been in the second edition, so the mistpedia has been a huge h...
