Heh, my bad - I didn't poke very hard. They are a fairly obvious choice, and still great indeed

I'm surprised that I haven't seen the 'haunted house' band Midnight Syndicate mentioned here yet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFllOE4CCKE&list=PLAF0F415B79EA8FB3 Bands like Artesia ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3s_xfu7jCw ), who I used in my home haunt soundtrack last year - including M...

Re: MARKET PLACE: Ravenloft's interesting auctions and links
I saw those on my daily Ebay searches and drooled... Out of my budget right now - and I have more 'basic' wants to fulfill that aren't.

Re: A Ravenloft Podcast?
I've been getting more and more into podcasts over the last year, I'd love to hear folks who are knowledgeable about Ravenloft banter on. I do listen to a few RPG related ones. Makes great listening at work as I mindlessly chop things

Re: Seeking New Campaign Advice
Lesser Evil, I really like your melding of the setting's outer limits with the real world stuff... I didn't comment above because I want to really absorb some of that before I do... Like I think I mentioned above, the whole 'afterlife' as its own idea faded as I learned more about the Domains of Dre...

Re: Seeking New Campaign Advice
First and foremost, thank you all for responding... I'm going to try and hit all the points that the three of you have brought up. I'm also pleased that you easily understood the route I was taking so well. :azalin: Player Expectations (in character and out, from myself and from the players): I'm gr...

Seeking New Campaign Advice
I have found myself over the last few weeks scrabbling together campaign concepts and notes for my first dedicated Ravenloft setting. The big first thing that I learned was that I should have dived into the Gazeteers and post-2e material much sooner… The problem I’m having, despite writing at a fair...

*snickers*
Sure, when I receive it, I will scan it and send it along.
I saw that the book was down to a single copy a few days ago, and since my favorite Ravenloft interior art is in the S&S books - I figured I'd better order now.

Re: What is the best game system to run Ravenloft
Those characters are great send-ups - must be a blast to play. I have run Masque in 2e only, though I had allowed certain amounts of demihumans in my mythohistorical dream/afterlife homebrew setting (hardly canonical...). Always loved that original box set... been dying to do "Bleak House"...

Re: What is the best game system to run Ravenloft
Howdy All, At the risk of sounding strange, most of my Ravenloft adventuring has been done with Hackmaster 4e. It's weirdly gritty combat/skills/classes gave the games an unusual flavor, but sometimes... well... it just didn't feel right. I also always felt like my primary (home) group was being dra...

Re: New to Ravenloft? Introduce yourself here!
Greetings, fair ghoulies... There are those who call me Dave. I've been down the path to the FoS before - but, for some reason, I never stumbled into the Café. I might fall into the category (or oubliette) of unusual Ravenloft fans, as I'm an OSR/Old School RPG geek (I occasionally run 2e, but usual...
