Re: Darklord and NPC Equivalents

Borca (Ivana Boritsi) - I'd have to say Madame de Villefort, The Count of Monte Cristo.

The Sea Of Sorrows (Captain Pieter van Riese) - A blend of "the Mariner", the Rime of the Ancient Mariner, and Captain Ahab, Moby Dick. Maybe?

The Fortitude Save fluxuates like it does because of the Hand of Doom Class Feature. My reasoning being, a minus to Constitution is a likewise minus to Fortitude Save...

And, for some reason, I'm still able to go online. Weird.

and as has been stated the possessor is limited in its grapple by the hosts abilities, so how hard can it be to grapple a 4th level aristocrat or a 5th level expert? On average, not hard at all. So that's why a clever possessor--one who knows the existance of devildrivers--would naturally choose a ...

And, what does this mean: "Will we be seeing any fluff for this class?" Stuff like a small introductory text, information on the sort of characters who would be likely to pursue the class, secret organizations of devildrivers, allies, foes, mysteries, and so on. If that's the case, then y...

The DR is there because if it wasn't, then any evil outsider would pulverize them in combat once they have been wreaked from their victim-host. Don't forget, it's a tooth and tooth battle that goes on between the two. One-hundred percent devildriver, one-hundred percent possessor. And given that the...

I'll fiddle with those thoughts and introduce a different version for those who are anti-anime. Joke. The anime part, not the other version. Truth be told I was thinking about taming this class down a bit as it were. More reason now I guess. Also, I will drop the Extra Turning in exchange for a litt...

I am waiting for it to finish I'm in the process of moving right now, February 25 being the possession date (no pun intended), and anytime now my internet and cable will be cancelled. Should be today actually... Short point, it might be about month before I can post the history and background of th...

Anybody else think I should put a limit on the number of times in a day (or week) a devildriver can use Soulstare, and maybe even Wreak?

So, to put it in puppet analogy... Those monsters who control their victims in the manner of sock-puppets, like, say, doppelganger plants, undead, or spellcasters with the ability to use the spell Magic Jar, are fair game for the DevilDrivers, as they have a large and potentially vulnerable chunk o...

Can the Devil Driver also break mental holds some monsters and undead have over victims, ala vampire's charm gaze, or a mindflayer's telepathic powers? I'd say no. A devildriver exists to combat the actual entity, outside of it's current host, not neccessarily their individual forms of attack. In a...

Not only fiends, but evil spirits as well. Animator, Corpse Candle, Dream Spawn, Dreamweaver, Odem, Tenebris...to name those creatures found in Denizens of Darkness . Also, all a devildriver really needs is one fiend to give them purpose and constant life-long battle. Either the devildriver physical...

New prestige class: Devildriver

The other day I was watching a program on exorcism, got caught up in the concept, and I began to chow down. I began to digest it. And after awhile I puked the idea found below. It's a prestige class of an old religious mindset, only a little more driven. The actual written history is in the works, a...

Knights of the Shadows

Aside from Van Richten's Arsenal volume one, where can one find information on this prestige class slash society?

Official or homebrew, it doesn't matter.
