You know, it's been quite some quite some time since I'd such a depressing moment as when I realized the only good thing in all this is that goth culture and video games were being used as media strawmen with slightly less vigor than they had been after Columbine.

A bunch of annoying twits locked in a house with flesh eating zombies...now that sounds like a reality show worth watching.

Seriously. Grimme's one weakness is is a walking stick that's currently floating somewhere along the California coastline. I'm not even going to begin to think about how impossible exploiting Stone's one weakness would be....

Devil, imp, euphoric imp [Fiend Folio] The Hazlani scum managed to get away, and I'm sorry to say he's managed to do quite a bit "buisness" in our neighborhood. We had some of those he sold to sent to the Celebrents...bloody hell, one of them was a girl couldn't have been more than twelve...

Hmm...could a vampire train himself to operate on a different sleep cycle if the sun was not a factor, or is it a supernatural thing that can not be changed? I ask this because even underground, a person who's seen only during late hours might still raise suspicions.

And he says I introduced him to the game, although really I just happened to have the book with during one of the Montreal meetups, and lent it to him for a few minutes to read. I've used it for inspiration several times, such as a serial killer inspired by the Prince of Envy, but never actually run...

I meant the big four Servitors; Stone, Raven, Grimme, and Hellstrome. They always avoided giving stats to these and other major fearmongers because they were important to the ongoing plot and the old rule of "If you stat it, someone will find a way to kill it. I suspect statting the Horsemen wi...

Still, I'm a little amazed they not gave only concrete stats for the Big Four, but finally answered the ongoing question "What would kill Stone?" Of course the weakness is so difficult to meet as to be effectivly impossible, but it's kind of nice from a completeness point-of-view.

Other than doing a good job of collecting most* of the major plot points that occured between the release of the origional handbook and when the line ended, very little. If you're in it solely for the plot, I'd reccomend waiting for later books in the line to come out, as they have promised several ...

I picked this up today, gave it a quick once-through. There are a few minor things with regards to some of the arcane backgrounds I'm a little annoyed about, though I can understand some of them from a balance point of view. Still, the art's polished and the rules are fairly tight. There doesn't see...

Cerebral symbiont: psionic sinew To be honest, none of us quite knew what to expect when we moved in to arrest that murderous lunatic. From his handiwork, we'd almost expected something more animal than man. When we burst in and found a bloke who could've been mistaken for just another day labourer,...

Of course, how to go about selling the manor is only really an issue if they don't decide to just loot everything even remotely mobile and skip town under cover of darkness, as I once saw a party do in a similar situation. I seem to recall the DM decided to take the oppurtunity to sneak a cursed ite...

In grossly overpopulated cities, you can add a dash of claustrophobia to your sense of isolation. Crowded marketplaces, taverns, public gatherings and such, where there's such a press of people you can barely move, and yet you don't know a single person there.

Wait, you mean running both systems at the same time? That seems like it might end up being needlessly complex and confusing, dispite the Little Fears' system's simplicity. I've never run a group large enough to even be split, so I not sure how much of problem that might present. Still, a simple sol...

I'm in the process of writing a review for this, as well as The Suffering: Ties that Bind, and hoping to pull off some literary necromancy and peice together my review of the origional Suffering from memory. I'm hoping to have that all wrapped up by next Monday, but I was never good with deadlines. ...
