Re: CONFIRMED: Ravenloft for 5th Edition
Well in ravenloft they're could be easily other versions of the same domain existing within the mists . Infinite worlds sucked up by the mists. (Heh, think about that one.... all our campaigns and versions living next to each other seperated only by the thin layer of mist...) I can imagine what hap...

Re: Vistani as Player Characters
For what it's worth, there are stats (somewhere in a Dragon magazine, I forgot where exactly) for creating a full-blooded Vistani race in 4E.

Re: Considering making a new Mistbound world
Aren't Gothic Earth and the world of the Jade Dragon technically "Mistbound worlds"?

Chiquita Banana is one of the Dark Powers in my Ravenloft campaigns.
So is Grant Gustin.

Re: CONFIRMED: Ravenloft for 5th Edition
3. Chris won't tell us if there's more to the demiplane than Barovia (which makes me hopeful that they might at least hint at a larger demiplane). Yeah, about that: here's what ENWorld so far has said. Minsc and Boo are comedic characters, whereas Ravenloft is not well-known for it's light-hearted ...

Re: Hickman hates Ravenloft?
The closely quote I can find is from here: http://geekandsundry.com/the-next-dd-release-will-get-your-blood-pumping/ The adventure promises paths in for players in the Forgotten Realms or homebrew worlds looking to add some Gothic horror and garlic to their campaigns. This seems to mean just to mea...

I've Been Writing for ENWorld's EN5ider!
I have an article for ENWorld's EN5ider entitled "It's Never Over: Plot Seeds for the End of the World." http://www.enworld.org/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=73712&d=1453821078&stc=1 It's hosted on Patreon, so you'll have to pay $1 to read it. :Ivana: http://www.enworld.org/for...

Re: CONFIRMED: Ravenloft for 5th Edition
Edited to add: Ravenloft can be anything to anyone, regardless of race or gender preference, for as long as the people who play it are having fun and aren't hurting anyone. This thread is no longer amusing.

Re: D&D Podcast Talking About the Curse of Strahd!
I think that's a good thing. Personally it would be like how I once got introduced to Ravenloft: through the "Vampire of the Mists" novel. A Forgotten Realms link, Barovia and its history, and interactions with Strahd. Nothing more.

To be fair, I6 and Expedition were independent of any campaign setting.

Re: CONFIRMED: Ravenloft for 5th Edition
Where do you buy them? Do you have to go to a con to get it? Or are they in stores? They're available through http://dmsguild.com I already submitted some stuff, and I'm okay with what I'm receiving in return. OK, so what's UA now? (I'm guessing not a splatbook of alternate classes and such like it...

Re: Hickman hates Ravenloft?
The question now is: with a potential Ravenloft "reboot" on the horizon (as mentioned by various media outlets), how many die-hard Ravenloft fans would be the grumpy ones this time and would be set in the ways of Ravenloft 3e (which is now basically "old school")?

Re: CONFIRMED: Ravenloft for 5th Edition
To be fair, the new tarokka deck looks spectacular. http://www.enworld.org/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=73357&d=1453143126&thumb=1 I mean, who wouldn't love to have that card plop down on their gaming table? :) And besides, Strahd looks DREAMY in his new incarnation. http://icv2.com/ima...
