I didn't read KotBR, so I cannot say for sure if that portal is the same as this one: Portal in Barovia, deep beneath the caverns under the River Ivlis.

Planescape all the way down the Abyss....!

The fact that you can play a campaign in the actual planes where gods live and die, make this setting a perfect place for roleplayers of all kinds.

Planscape is my choice after Ravenloft.

Totally out of context, and for that I present my humble appologies.
But since RL miniatures are in discussion, I would like to ask, where can I get my hands on this miniatures? Is the line still in stores? E-Bay perhaps?

What is not known is the former owner of the manor was a diabolist. Just before his death, the owner summoned a demonic entity into the house and trapped it in a pentagram, hidden in a secret chamber beneath the manor's dilapidated chapel. Excelent. I would suggest a Fiend. Wassirlith or something like that. Maybe banished from its plane, because of a lost battle or some severe injury in the Blood War. ( this way you tone down its power)...

This is my humble opinion.

It's really sad to hear these things. Specially because as an Old player I feel very fond of Ravenloft, and these kind of things really hurt the game.

I hope the Ravenloft Line doesn't die. But to tell you the truth, even when I purchased a lot of 3rd Ed products, I still use the 2nd. Ed stuff mainly. Which means that the products are not good at all. I was hoping they would improve, but now they are announcing no more new products for this year.....
