Re: Ravenloft Artbook of Talon Dunning

Hello, sir. I have recently purchased my first ever GenCon badge, and I was wondering if you will be at GenCon this year. I'm hoping that you will be, to have a chance to meet you and thank you in person for the wonderful art you've created for Ravenloft. :) I will, indeed, be at GenCon this year. ...

Re: Who Owns Ravenloft Now Question

Ryan's right, that was our April Fool's joke, but there's no excuse for a broken link*. I've fixed it, so the link now points to the joke thread here: http://fraternityofshadows.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=8938 Thanks for letting us know! (And yes, I did post it on March 31st deliberately to ...

Re: Who Owns Ravenloft Now Question

That was an April Fools joke. Wizards of the Coast owns Ravenloft. Wow, I can't believe I fell for that! Thank you for clearing that up for me. I thought that it had to do with Ravenloft being published again by another company, like White Wolf. At least I can laugh at myself for that.

Who Owns Ravenloft Now Question

I clicked the March 31st link about who owns Ravenloft now, and it told me that the requested topic does not exist. Could someone fix that please, or inform me here who now owns the rights? Thank you. :)

Re: 5e announced!

Yeah not sure i'll be pulling away from Pathfinder any time soon, however if Ravenloft does come out for it I will definitely grab at it. :) I agree, actually. I'm interested to see what all develops with 5E. I'm thoroughly a Pathfinder DM now, even in my Forgotten Realms campaigns, and will stay t...

Re: Lycanthropy Cure

I'm really glad to have found this thread! Dealing with lycanthropy in Ravenloft can be confusing when you are dealing with mixed edition material as we are. Still, lycanthropy can be one of the most interesting aspects of a campaign should a player contract it. Always fun to see how other character...

Re: Firearms in Ravenloft

I believe it is a full round action, which you can reduce with the Rapid Reload feat. This is definitely the case in Pathfinder; I think it is the case in the RL3e firearm rules. Thank you! Mind if I ask which book this can be found in? And does Rapid Reload reduce it to a standard action or a move...

Re: Firearms in Ravenloft

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I was under the impression that reloading any firearm in Ravenloft is a standard action. But looking in the 3.5E Campaign Setting it lists pistols as a standard action to reload. What is the time, please, to reload a musket by the rules? Thank you!

Re: Languages of Ravenloft

Thank you for your kind wishes, HuManBing! :D Interesting on both fronts about the feat. I'll have to consider it a little more before deciding. If anyone else has insight into the feat for the Ravenloft Player's Handbook firearms as presented in 3.5E, please let me know. I'm always interested to he...

Re: Languages of Ravenloft

Thank you for all your tips and advice, everyone. Sorry it's taken me so long to reply here. I just recently moved from one state to another, and things are still kind of hectic here, like finding a new job, learning to navigate a big city, etc. I've never been a fan of 4E in any format, so I use Pa...

Languages of Ravenloft

Hello, everyone. It's been quite some time since I was here, and spent some time in the Mists. It's good to be back. :D I'm soon to be running a campaign for my girlfriend, and have been trying to find something I read about a long while ago, discussing the languages in Ravenloft. It gave a basic ov...
