"you've seen Lodissio? is he alright?"

I follow Erdwin, reloading my crossbow and keeping a wary eye on the hellhound fight.

"oh by the way....where ARE we?"

I shake my head

"I've no idea where we are. Oh... there were some others as well, but they've vanished. They could be anywhere..."

I glance at the hellhound fight

"I'm not sure we have time to look...

Shana dashes over to the wounded warrior glancing at Avra

"Thankyou sir! I'm deeply in your debt. um, is anyone else for getting out of here now?"

with a yell, Shana unleashes a colour spray in a desperate attempt to stun it, then sets the illusion hound forward to distract the beast from its current victim, preparing to fire my crossbow again

hmm... I think I am reduced to shooting it.

Does it seem to be breathing? Its not an undead hound is it?

I lift my hands in a swirling gesture again, the phantom hound still threatening from the far side of the creature to the strange warrior, and a swirl of thick smoke wreaths its head

[Silent Image of smoke to surround it's head; blinding and confusing it (I hope...)]

"Quick!" I hiss at Avra, and try a dive forward roll past the creature and out to a safe(r) distance, where I spin round and begin weaving magic again

[tumble check to avoid the attack of opportunity!]

As soon as the beast is distracted I dive out of the hole, looking surprised at the newcomers charge. My "beast" leaps lithely to a flanking position as I scramble back, and I prepare to support the new arrival's attack

"its digging its way in!" I use the moment of distraction to take a shot with my crossbow at it, then pause and begin to murmur, hands sweeping in rapid, intricate circles. A snarl echoes from outside the hole behind the hound, as a similar but slightly larger beast approaches from behind ...

"No!" I grab Avra, holding him back. "I don't know what's going on here... and havent since I arrived at that inn. Maybe we really are awake now. But whatever, there's a large doglike monster at the top of that hole. As soon as you stick your head out it'll try to have your throat out...

With a scream I scurry back down the hole out of immediate reach, groping for my crossbow. If it seems to be following me down the hole, I colour spray it! if not I pause to get my breath and consider my next move...

"H...hello? is anyone there?"

I glance at Avra, but my knowledge of medicine being what it is, decide the best thing I can do for him is get competent help.

I reach up and try to scramble out of the hole into the bowl, looking around for the dog and, hopefully, its owner

"help!"

I sit up suddenly looking around, then as my senses catch up I give a little groan and clutch my head, wincing. Looking up towards the light, I try to see where it's coming from and if I can get out!
