Request from an Old Soul--Adventure!

Ahoy hoy, all. It's been a while since I posted here last--I lurk off and on occasionally, but most of the time I spend my days over on rpg.net. However, a new group of players that I've been running with have requested that I run something for Halloween....particularly since they've piqued their in...

Not any more Zet, Not any more. Now the wizard's fireball deals less damage than a fighter's attack. A good 10th level wizard does about 20 hp damage with a fireball, where a kobold has 25 hp. A complete disgrace. True, but a Wizard's Fireball can also hit up to 16 of those kobolds, bringing ...

Definitely looking forward to this one, provided that my laptop can run it.

That said, I get the impression that weapon durability will be something that gets scrapped. I can't recall a single game in which that rule made it more fun to play.

Has anyone done a significant write-up on any of these? I'd be interested to see what they come out like.

I already have Lords of Madness--it's been a huge help along the way.

Is Thoughts of Madness available as a PDF? If so, where at?

More Info on Bluetspur?

Hey hey... Long time since I've been around here, so it's good to be back. However, I have a bit of a request. I'm running a big, ol' fashioned one-shot next week and need some more detailed information on the layout of Bluetspur. However, I'm finding the info on Bluetspur in the RL3e and RLDMG some...

Anybody who read it from cover to cover: is it worth buying for RL? Joël In a word, "yes". Pact magic would slide perfectly into many domains of the core, as well as some of the islands, without fail. The vestiges are typically quite creepy and have tons of potential to be altered for RL,...

After some contemplation, I've begun to think that Ravenloft deals with the question on the same fashion as Paradise Lost. That is, both works pose the query, "Why evil?" When men work for good aims, at least in their own minds, how can those same men fall so far from the path of righteous...

Wiccy of the Fraternity wrote:The ghost in Myer's Hall is actually quite famous, it has been featured in tv shows a few times and has been mentioned in many books and magazines on the supernatural.
Seriously? I never knew Witt's ghost was that famous....

Do you have a link or such?

Supposedly, one of the dorms in my home uni is haunted. The legend goes: As a prank, one of the fraternities just after the university opened (late 1800s) walked a horse up the stairs of Myers Hall and into the cupola and left it there. When the campus authorities found it the next day, they were at...
