Bronn spit on the creature, quickly wiping his blades as best he could before sheathing them.

"Agreed." he looks at Cole. "Feel up to continueing?"

Bronn squints and curses under his breath before pressing the attack again, hoping to kill the creature before the spell dropped. He knew that when the spell went out, he would be fighting blind for a little, as his eyes would need to readjust.

Bronn bellows a curse and shifts his stance slightly so his left side was forward, putting the longsword to work on the offensive as well, apparently willing to take a hit or two if he's able to kill the thing in the process.

Bronn lets go of the bastard sword with his left hand, single-handing it easily, as he draws his longsword as well. He seems content to use the longsword to bat away questing tentacles while aiming another powerful slash at the creature's mouth.

Bronn snorted in frustration and gave one final yank on the rope, then let it go as he drew his bastard sword in both hands and charged, slashing at the creature's main body mass.

Bronn makes sure he has a firm grip on the rope, and glances around for anything to hand onto to secure himself further. He knew that if it was up to him to pull them out, it would come in useful.
