Re: How similar are the rules of Pathfinder and D&D 3e?
Pathfinder is practically tweaked 3.5 edition. When WotC greedily moved to 4th edition which was controversial to downright unpopular in order to make money from its dominance of the market, Pathfinder greedily backstabbed WotC and (ab)using the OGL used their own tools, to become D&D's main com...

Some adventure ideas ...
A friend was asking me for some help with an adventure she was planning for her 4th level party. 5th edition D&D. In short, we ended up with this idea that people may find interesting, especially in Sebua. Villa near a small oasis that the nomad guides shun and consider cursed and haunted (hint:...

Re: Additional monsters for Hazlan
Oh, you wanted aberration or bizarre looking ones? I didn't catch that. There were a kind of aberration or monster, I don't remember what, that was lying a flying carrion crawler, in short: Tentacles that paralyze and a beak. I don't remember the name. They were like a floating small body with tenta...

Re: Additional monsters for Hazlan
So... you imagine it much bigger than I do.
I would go with wolfweres or werejackals, too. They are kinda thematic and wolfweres are right next door.
Wargs (intelligent, malevolent wolves that speak) too.

Re: Ways of Getting Around Canon...
As for not using the "born in Darkon, taken away as a baby" loophole that can't be used often:
As long as you use it for a different campaign each time, I don't see the problem.

Re: Ways of Getting Around Canon...
cuz Drakov can’t be that stupid, let’s give him some credit In my opinion, it is more about control than stupidity. No, those people that want to prove their worth to the all-fabulous Drakov should find ways to work around the brand. No exceptions just for convenience. Either they are worth their s...

Re: Ways of Getting Around Canon...
For Falkovnia, I go with just the Talons having the brand and officials. However, I have Falkovnia literally ran by the Talons. I.e. it is a junta. Judges, administrators etc are all military people of rank. The Talons are the elite branch that controls many of the positions. For Darkon... I have ha...

Re: Latest site updates
Perhaps the FoS should upgrade their anti-construct weapons and spells. But it is not just here. I see spam attacks in waves in several forums I am in, and we get warnings in facebook groups etc about hijacked accounts and fake accounts.

But in 3.5 they had no alignement subtype. Then what I said, does not apply to 3.5 Githyanki. Although I have asked the question in 2001 or 2002 I think, before 3.5. EDIT : 3.5 edition Githyanki are not even outsiders! they are extraplanar humanoids which for Ravenloft is the same as any ot...

Re: A VN that screams of Ravenloft
It is "Raging Loop", a Visual Nover. It has: Impenetrable mists. Dark entities. Sins of the Father and generational evil. Stray too far from "the laws" once the mists roll in and it is not the evil things that kill you but ... well, the equivalent of the Dark Powers through Power...
