Yes, I'm afraid personal banners are not allowed on these forums. (Long story.) Neat though it is, please remove it from your sig, LordG.
Yes I seem to recall something about Wiccy and Dion frightening the masses.

I'm not a Dragonlance fan, so this doesn't really concern me personally. However, for the Dragonlance fans, here's something I'd be worried about if I were you. Now, for all we know as cheesy as it looks now, it might very well be very canon. On the other hand though, there stands a very high chance...

*blink*...did...did I just see... He-man in that trailer? http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e223/ndburke/He-maninDragonlancemovie.jpg He's brunette, and he's wearing splint mail, but by the power of Greyskull, that is SO He-man. He's even embarrasingly exposes his crotch while drawing his sword like...

I just found it odd that duergar get bonus psionic points and mind flayers don't, so I decided that yes, mind flayers are a psionic race and get a bonus power point per HD. You know, that's a good point. Why were only duergar getting bonus psionic points? do use them. Especially for doppelgangers; ...

Strahd: Yes, they tell me there's a blond haired girl named Tara that I need not concern myself with. But it is good, no? Because I, Strahd , would always be able to tell if someone is my Tatyana. *2 months later* To my dearest Tara, WHY WON'T YOU CALL ME!!!!!!!!! . I make fabulous dinner of you...I...

Eh, if it's an island, then you don't have the Forfarans moving to Barovia and Halzan. Barovia really gets a charge from having a few ethnic groups in the mix; the Gundarkites, the Thaani and the Forfarans all force Barovia to be a part of the rest of Ravenloft, rather than be cut off and whatnot. ...

We don't want to end up nerfing the goblinkin in the process, the way Klingons and Borg lost so much of their scariness once they put Klingon and Borg heroes in the Star Trek crews.
 did...did you just relate Ravenloft...to Star Trek?

I'll fourth that the shadowlands should have been part of the core in the first place. It was dumb to separate Nidala, Forlorn and Tepest. I always pictured the celtic domains as something very similar to what Nathan has, only instead making them an Island near Mordent.

I've always been of the opinion that Calibans were an example of what should be done with all of the races. Ravenloft really deserves it's own batch of races to help maintain the atmosphere, while still giving the players plenty of options to choose from. I mean honestly, why do we care what WOTC do...

On the side note of which core faiths owe inspiration to real world religions, Pam and I had a discussion about this earlier (and this topic happens to be her specialty). I seem to recall that the Mordentish sect was Anglican, the Borcan sect was Catholicism (from a more objective view), the Darkoni...

Tim Burton's "Sweeney Todd"

Ok guys, I think I'm dreaming.

A friend of mine just showed me that Tim Burton is making a movie adaptation of "Sweeney Todd", with Johnny Depp and Helen Bonham Carter as the leads.

...*twitch* OH MY GOODNESS!

Any body else psyched?
