My thought would be to start with reenenineering the rules, seeing what can be salvaged from the D20 MotRD and what desperately needs changing. Once we have that we could move on to the DMs book for 1890's adventure, and finally a source book for 1890. I think it that we could attempt one of these p...

I assure you, your better off without the GE 3rd edition. You know, ScS it might be a good project in itself for the member of the Gothic Earth board to rework some of the 3rd edition MotRD rules as a basis for re-energizing Gothic Earth (Since it's soemthing we are talking about on another thread)...

Gothic Earth Articles for QtR Issue 13

I was wonder if anyone was planning on submitting Gothic Earth related articles for Quote the Raven Issue #13. I have a few ideas myself, but they are currently in idea stage, not necessarily articles yet.

Another possbility might be to have a series of articles on Lords, Demilords, Overlords, and Renegades...each article detailing one specific being, his/her contact, minions, and possible his/her lair if he/she has one. Thus would be similar to the variant of the Frogotten Children SoK book that I me...

Here is something that I've worked up from the discussions and thoughts I've had regarding combat with green slime grenades. Green Slime Grenade Combat The ceramic and glass vials that the Green Slime is contained in are not guaranteed to break when thrown. In the case of the ceramic vials, the vial...

I just finished a phone conversation with a friend of mine who has a chemisty/biology/medical background. With a little figuring they estimated that a vial of green slime would cover about 5 inches if poured out or boken open, and that would only be if it had the consistance to flow over a surface. ...

If we attempted something like the adventure/senario series that I posted about, it might prove interesting to have side note variations on the senario so that it can be placed in various places (such as, if this adventure is set in New York City this encoutner would happen near location "x&quo...

Perhaps a netbook similar to the "Forgotten Children" that was put out by the SoK back in 2nd edition, or if we were to look at a more extensive project a series of intertwining adventures/senarios that help a DM move the players deeper into the plot...Perhaps something similar to what the...

Thank you all for your comments and input on this subject. I've been considering more about the green slime's use as a weapon and I have come up with an additional complication. Since the stats for Green slime in the DMG detail a patch of green slime 5' diamater, a vail of green slime is not going t...

Green Slime

I'd like to hear the opinion of some of the members of this forum on the subject of green slime. I'm currently having a discussion with one of my players who seems to think that green slime would be "easy" to harvest and carry as a grenade like weapon. The player feels that ceramic or glas...

I was wondering: for Masque characters, what system did most people used here? The d20 modern class system, d20 Masque rules or something else? I've just got an idea for a character but I don't know how to stat him in the least (unless it was in 7th sea rules). For my campaigns I use D20 Masque rul...

It's actually the first character she's ever played, so we are trying to make this character (and the figure representing her) to be as special as we can. It's sort of a tradition with our gaming group when it comes to new players.

She's playing a female halfling bard...our group would be happy to paint the figure for her if she was unable...so unpainted would be fine.
