Re: Tarokka Deck

Though I didmake my own Tarokka, I did manage to get hold of the one you were after much searching and paying over the odds (I think they retailed for about $25 but were like gold dust leading me to pay about three times that on Ebay in the end for one in mint condition to complete my 2nd & 3rd ...

Re: Van Richten's Guide to the Vistani- useful for 3rd ed?

The VRGs were always high on fluff and flavour with the rules taking a back seat, this I felt added more detail and a bunch of crunshier blocks of rules and the Vistani was a prime example of this. I wouldn't worry about the outdated mechanics since the book is worth good for being a darn good read ...

Re: Some easter egg in RL

I'm still scratching my head over how those are Easter eggs, lol.

Jim, good to see that old list again mate!

As for Tepest, I've always been partial to the idea that the 3 Hags are based on those from Shakespeare's works and that the domains' name is a play on The Tempest.

Re: The Walking Dead on AMC!!!

If I'd not signed the NDA then people will have heard a few new things that weren't in the comic from me by now. Oh, and found out what the CDC doctor said (it's kinda obvious when you hear it, lol), about new characters, what some characters get up to, whether certain characters are still alive at ...

Re: Doctor Who (It's Spoilerific)

The season finale only confirmed what I'd already worked out in my head, so it was below average for me. Definitely the weakest of the season finales of the current run (yes, even worse than when the Doctor was rejuvenated by the people of Earth calling for me, as cheesy as that was). What annoys me...

Re: The Walking Dead on AMC!!!

I still have my worries with the departure of Darabont (that's putting what happened as politely as I can), but things are still looking very promising and the show should be in good hands still. I don't work on the show but I know a couple of people that do (old business acquaintances) and it's thr...

Re: The Walking Dead on AMC!!!

I know that despite how excited I was about it before I had something find me that now has me twice, no three times as excited about season 2 than I was before. I am not allowed to say what it is (damn NDA!), it's not been announced on the internet at all that I can see, but it is something really g...

Re: Doctor Who (It's Spoilerific)

Last Saturdays' was good and I really enjoyed it, but I think the support cast was what gave it the strength more than the script (which was beyond ludicrous in places). This weeks should be interesting and I am looking forward to it, but did they really gloss over all those years of the Doctor's li...

Re: Doctor Who (It's Spoilerific)

I've found that since Moffat took over the metaplot has generally improved, but the individual story lines have worsened. I think it's a shame really since they have a good cast that deserve far better.

Re: Red Riding Hood

I only recently watched this one and I must admit that I also enjoyed it, apart for the last 5 minutes which then ruined everything I'd enjoyed until that moment. Very poor ending, which was a shame considering that I'd really enjoyed it until then.

Anyone else excited about the shows' return next month? I know I can't wait :) Such a shame all of my rumour sources have dried up though :(

Re: Doctor Who (It's Spoilerific)

Has anyone else felt disappointed with the most recent batch of episodes since the show returned form it's break? With the exception of the odd moment in Let's Kill Hitler and the end of the latest one I've not once been entertained by it (heck, Matt Smith himself has been caught citing disappointme...
