Medicine/Heal check [dice]230155:0[/dice] Does it seem like there was enough blood up there for that to be the sight of the decapitation?
+4 is my heal skill.

Yes, it looks like enough blood.

The head, ravaged as it is, should be enough.

The quality of answers would suffer for the condition of the head and the fact that the rest of the corpse is absent.
But he should be able to conjure something out of Honrsby's severed head.
And , of course, given his peculiar facility with this kind of necromancy...

I can update after that.

Oh, and also, since I forgot to post this earlier. This is for Hornsby.

R.I.P. Hornsby

Now, a total of 20 is pretty good.

And I'm counting in aid another if a generic group roll succeeds.

[dice]0[/dice]

Nope.

But the bloodhounds also made their rolls.

Post coming up shortly, writing it now...

LORD SKYBOLT'S scene for ALAIN will get updated after that player has had a chance to post.
No rush. It's a separate scene, after all.

I have posted a small update for Thom's scene.

The rest of you guys post as you please.
When I see that the party has made a choice about pursuit/tracking, then I will update again.

Mike, you may attempt

BLUFF

DIPLOMACY

GATHER INFORMATION

On your guests.
Bluff would be misleading them as to the probably seriousness of the situation and blathering away when uncomfortable subjects arise, changing the topic of conversation.
Diplomacy would be working to calm them further, using reason.
Gather Info would be just that--asking a lot of questions. Specify what topic he's asking about, please.

Or do something else. The choices above are just options based on what you have described IC as his intent and actions.

Wow I haven't checked for 4 days and so much happened!

Sara is ranger so I would say she was with Kat and searched for clues. Since I haven't rolled a horror check lets say that she heard the others and doesn't take a close look at Horsby's head.

Sara will go with the team that will not have the dogs so she will try to help the other time track either Maytr or the children.

- The first 2 Feats a wizard should take are "point blank shot" and "Precise shot"!
- W H A T ! ? !
- Or they should NEVER memorize rays!

SO it looks as if the dogs will not be split, if the party is doing it as Van just suggested.

Going after Matyr:
Kat

Going after Benn's kids:
Benn
Raen

split up, details depend on other choices:
Sara (party without dogs)
the six gendarmes+ (will divide so as to make parties pretty much even in numbers)
hound-master, dog-boy (with dogs)

Undeclared:
Dorgio
