Re: The Shattered City: OOC
Given that both my Acrobatics and my Athletics scores are atrocious, can I use Dimension Door to warp out of this thug's paws and fry him with an attack spell?

If you have the actions to do so, be my guest.

*cracks knuckles* And for today's recipe, we will be preparing an old family recipe that I like to call "Fried Henchman". The main ingredient is hired thug. Time to kick it up a notch - table for how many? =_=*

Re: The Shattered City: OOC
Couple of small rules issues. I waved them through last round, but:
1) How did Nicolas manage to attack and shift twice in one round? Unless there's a special power or item involved, shifting is a move action.
2) Whistler, Tsk tsk. You can't miss, then decide to use an action point to turn that into a hit. You determine all roll modifiers, and the target first, and once you've rolled the dice, that is final. This goes for everyone!

Ahem. *clears throat* HELP!
Re: The Shattered City: OOC
FYI: When you successfully break out of a grab using Athletics or Acrobatics, you can shift 1 square for free.

Sorry my bad got confused and thought I could swap a minor for a move, feel free to cancel one of those shifts.NeoTiamat wrote:

On another note does Rending really allow the Darkhound a shift of 5 squares?

A minor note--I accidentally counted the -2 penalty to damage from Dire Radiance twice, by reducing my bonus to +4 and then adding a -2 to that. So the tough in Mercator's room has actually taken 4 more hit points of damage from Dire Radiance, since he took damage from it twice.

Re: The Shattered City: OOC
Two quick questions, one for Dm's and one for everyone else.
1. Is it possible to provoke Opportunity attacks from unconscious enemies?
2. Am I better off coup de gracing the doggies (bearing in mind I have no way of killing one outright) or targeting the mage?

You cannot provoke OAs from unconscious foes.lostboy wrote:Two quick questions, one for Dm's and one for everyone else.

You are probably better off trying to Coup de grace the Darkhounds before they wake up.

Cool and just to make sure...
As they are unconscious they have a -5 to all defences and grant combat advantage (+2 to attacks) right?
also do we all have Action Points back as its the start of a new book?
