A brush with fate - Comments
Not sure if anyone wanted to comment but I figured I'd throw it up just in case. I won't say I'm the best writter but I gave it a pretty good shot, and didn't go to bad for writing it half before the deck and half after getting it in the mail. Though I wrote most of it at work where constant interuptions interupts creative flow I must tell you.

Nice job Zilfer. I like your writing style. It read pretty quickly. I always loved Madame Eva....I assume that was the Zarovan character reading the Tarot cards. If you keep it going I'll keep reading.
I did a little bit of writing on here two if you care to check it out (of Heroes in The Mists). I could use some feedback. I myself make no claims at being a writer, but it can be fun.

Yeah mostly do it for fun. Just small blurb cutscenes. I'm not sure my players take them to heart or anything but it adds a bit of background I thinks. Gives me a better feel, and yeah it's supposed to be Madame Eva though I have very little of her personality to draw upon I did my best. xD
The cutscene this describes has yet to be plundered in my game thus far.

Other than being maddeningly obtuse, detached from reality, and emotionally distant (as in, I-know-everything-about-you-even-things-you-don't-know distant), I don't think Madame Eva has ever gotten much detailing personality wise. It's just as well; she's exempt from Ravenloft's influences on magic, powers checks, and even time itself. That's got to make a person a little strange.Zilfer wrote:it's supposed to be Madame Eva though I have very little of her personality to draw upon I did my best. xD

Why does that remind me of the joker's line.... "What doesn't kill you just makes you.... Stranger..."
