Lemon drop golem? Maple syrup elemental? Too be fair, I am getting that from an old adventure from many, many years ago called the Caves of Confections. There final boss was an animated birthday cake and his chocolate covered skeleton minions with a single candle atop their heads.
That was a difficult adventure...
For a variety of reasons...

Symbiotic-based attachment to another edible creature?

While not exactly a monster, per se, below is a haunt included as part of The Gift, Curse of the Golden Spear: 1, the first Kaidan module (of 3).
Ever seen the first Poltergeist movie, when the 'ghost hunting' student was raiding the food in the kitchen, when suddenly the steak started crawling across the counter, etc. This haunt was supposed to emulate that. You might have to alter the destruction method, as the included is associated with the adventure its a part.
Vicious Food CR 3 (XP 800)
CE haunt (5 ft. by 10 ft. area near table) persistent
Caster Level 3rd
Notice Perception DC 16 (to notice the smell of the food turning foul)
hp 13; weakness slow; trigger proximity; reset 1 day
Effect The food animates and attacks anyone in the room (same statistics as a rat swarm including filth fever; as the spell summon swarm; Pathfinder Bestiary). The haunt will pursue characters out of the room. This persistent haunt ends when the swarm is destroyed.
Destruction The haunt is destroyed when the innkeeper's wife is laid to rest.

Owen K.C. Stevens has created a board game called Gingerbread Kaiju - so stat yourself a Gingerbread Kaiju, that would make for a strange monstrous food...

None of the existing dark lords would require a food based powers check.jules wrote:seriously, what sort of terror track/darklord would accur for a food based powers check?
Looking at your OP, I has assumed you were discussing a custom dark lord for a custom dark domain where food was part of the issue. So a food based powers check might be a thing for custom dark domain involving food. How did that get turned around in trying to apply this to an existing dark lord?
