STEVE

VIEW CONTENT:
You see the fireplace near the top of the map? There's a window in the wall on its right side (r side of map). She can see into that room.
Tables lit by glow of what must be only a small fire in the hearth.

Boxes and sacks stacked on the central table, out of reach.

Two men in this room. They haven't looked her way yet. May not have heard her pop the window.
Both are armed. One with club. One with dagger. Both wear leather jacks.
One stands partly out of view, closer to that door on the other side of the fireplace (shown as open on the map, but closed now). She can see his arm, the dagger, part of his leather armor.

The guy with the club sits at the central table, looking away from the window (toward the bottom of the map, the direction where the rest of her party is making trouble)

From shadows and noises, she may suspect there are other people moving about in adjacent rooms.
You can either include this info in your IC post where she pops the window after climbing down( paraphrased and stripped of metagame references) or just keep it to yourself for now. The other PCs have NO KNOWLEDGE of what she saw. They might have noticed her slip over the roof (not Fild, too short),, but that is all.

Untrained observation check

He finds cover, but no things that would be of obvious use to the party.

OH, and who has custody of the ARQUEBUS WITH THE BURNING MATCH?

Because , while the vines can conceal that, it is something I want to be clear about.
Fild has a shield and sword at ready, so unless he is standing with the weapon slung over his shoulder, I'm guessing he left it propped.

I will scroll back to check.

For now, she will slip inside as undetected as she can.

Coolios--that concludes her action for the first (non surprise) round.

You can discover next round whether that was a success or a failure for him. :azalin:

We 'freeze' her scene as she starts into the window...

Yes Tom will attack aiming high so he will not get Fild. The gnome was attacked so he believes they will not surrender.

The man hasn't spotted him right?

That1 is bad news. Maybe.

Okay, as you used a called shot and took the penalty, it works like this:

Hit strikes the man, as intended, despite the poor roll for firing into melee (a normal shot and hit would have struck Fild---good thing he aimed high).

A miss, even by one point, will hit Fild for whatever damage you roll.

50% chance he gets partial cover from door post as he goes in.(-2 to hit)

50% chance the shot arrives at the moment he has turned his back (giving Tom a +2 bonus to hit)

1-3 = cover

[dice]0[/dice]

1-3= back shot
