Cudgel will do [dice]0[/dice]

But Tom will successfully avoid this damage if he:

Withdraws/ retreats, as Van considered doing upthread.

Strikes the club man down, lethally or a KO, with an attack this round

Parries the attack. Roll d20, give up own attack. Can give up AC bonus and use shield to parry/ deflect, gets bonus)

Otherwise stops/avoid somehow

He could also take the hit, bull through with overbearing.

D20

Situational plus one bonus for that, if he uses his shield to shove.

No damage, but if he succeeds in overbearing he can clear space for Gertie and Fild.

How many rounds we need till we get back at the house from the tunnel?

And does Tom knows/seen/heard the Watch?

He doesn't want to fight Titus, he doesn't know him. He will withdraw and try to reason the man.

Fast talking again!

One round would get you back into the house and into the vineyard, if you liked. It's not a long passage.

No, Tom has not seen or heard the Watch nearby. They might be coming, or maybe not at all.
Or Alfonse... Or Damien...

You do.

But it is bad light and the club man obscures the view by covering the cellar doorway in his fighting stance.
Nighttime.

I already rolled a recognition roll. Failed.
