UPDATE
I have set up a new scene, which takes place in the morning after the dinner at Thom's, the burglaries and murder, etc.
Based on player input , my understanding is that Charlotte, Lorna, and the kids are still all going away to Mordentshire.
Kat had time to do those tasks and then hasten to the waterfront, if you like, Kintire.
Indeed, any PC who wishes to be there is there.
If you want to start this chapter with a separate scene, anybody, let me know and I'll accommodate you.

Oh, and if the players of Benn or Dorgio feel that they'd like to insert some material in the opening scene, they can feel free to set that up here. I can always add quote boxes.
Or you can use a quick flashback/retrospective.

Bennedict will give Hornsby's body as thorough an exam as possible for clues, then see to his burial.
"Of course," Benn mutters, "It would be a damned shame if we ever knew what the hell was actually going on."

Any religious rites?
As an archivist (class), I imagine Benn knows several...
Oh, and about the paper the swords man holds up for Benn...

He'll probably give him whatever Hornsby would have preferred. Ezran, I imagine. Benn's not particularly devout but can do whatever is necessary.

Noted.
I'm setting up a split scene for your guy, Adam.
It will be up soon.
I want to let a couple of others post, OOC or IC.
As noted in OOC, you guys have ample opportunity to arrange a rendezvous, if you like. You don't have to, of course.
The swordsmen will give you some privacy if you wish to huddle and discuss that.

After swinging by the alchemist Kat will head for the waterfront but will aim to arrive as the leavetaking finishes. She will not approach while the swordsmen are there...
