Pigeons From Hell

Post by Charlatan »

Got a copy of the new MotRD book yesterday and have been skimming through it, and I thought that the adventure idea "Hell's Roost' sounded decidely famaliar, it's a minor re-working of Robert E Howards's Pigeons From Hell:

The specific supernatural force is different, but the setting and events are nearly identical.

I just got my copy (along with Gaz 5) today, I have mostly been reading Gaz 5 all day but had a quick skim through MotRD.

Speaking of REH's gothic Southern tales, I think an adventure, whether MotRD or normal Ravenloft (set in Souragne) based on "Black Canaan" would rock.
Better to betray the world, than for the world to betray me.
