Aside from the paladin's double chance to fail powers checks, which is thematically appropriate for a class so tightly bound to good in a world dominated by evil, I ignore class weaknesses. The mechanics were overly complicated and were also unfair in practice. A player who role-plays a struggle to stay on the straight and narrow and fastidiously avoids evil will always have X% chance of falling to corruption every time they gain a level under the RAW because of their choice of class? That's not simulating an internal struggle against evil. That's called "railroading."
