IC update coming...
Delight is to him- a far, far upward, and inward delight- who against the proud gods and commodores of this earth, ever stands forth his own inexorable self.

Did invisibility give us any help?

It may have.

It seems now you have destroyed or banished the ghostly tempter.

At least, you don't see it.

Apologies Ewan, but if I may, Raen's pride is not injured by stepping on a mud puddle. If anything, it's closer to him falling down and kissing the mud out of happiness. I didn't go deep into his feelings, which I regret, but he was fighting a feeling of hopelessness, of impeding doom. He was trying to keep it together.
Stepping into something real even if it is cold, dirty mud, is something he can comprehend and it would be very much welcome at this point.

Knowledge 0 If it's Nature it's +9. If it's Dread Realms it's 11.

Not, he thinks, the wetlands of the Musarde. Probably not the Core at all.

Can Klokulf make a Knowledge (Arcana) check (his modifier is +5) to make an educated guess as to the nature of those candles he took off of the Gaunt Wizard?

The candles

may be related to that hand-shaped cavity/depression in the box that held them. Klokulf has heard underworld rumors of burglars making use of a maindegloire, a magical device made from a hang man's severed hand...

Will post later this afternoon
History prefers legends to men. It prefers nobility to brutality, soaring speeches to quiet deeds. History remembers the battle and forgets the blood. What ever history remembers of me if it remembers me at all, it shall only be the fraction of the truth.
