Release of Quoth the Raven #25 !
Esteemed members of our Fraternity,
Miladies,
On this glorious Hallows' Evening, please be nice to the little kids wandering the streets (or at least appear to be nice). Do we have to remind you again who was called last year to get you out of the local jail, through the sewers? Don't be a pain in the neck (like our vampire friend used to tell us, what a comedian).
To make you sure you stay home and do not harass the youth tonight, here is the 2018 offering of Quoth the Raven!
Issue 25 already! The theme of the year was Trust and Distrust.
In this report, you will find a whole new list of peoples to watch, interesting (but some are quite deadly, like the death knight and that singing S.T. barber) persons from Verbrek, Richemulot and elsewhere, and a brand new island in the mist for you to discover!
Please take time to thank David for the formatting of this issue and also Ron, for carefully editing all of the texts. Joël did clowning around, brought the coffees and did the first Word editing of the texts.
Also, thanks to all authors and artists. Without you, there would be no annual Ravenloft netbook. Please review these articles, the authors are always pleased to hear your comments.
You can get the netbook here.
(we know that some horrible typos remain, please be indulgent with us, because our masters also wanted us to launch another edition of Dead Travel Fast for Halloween : Ivana and Adam's honeymoon trip in Blaustein. Torrid!)
Enjoy Qtr!
Sincerely,
David, Joël, Ron, for the Souragne Fraternity of Shadows

Thanks for all the hard work, everyone! It may sound strange but I have been waiting all year for this. Its funny to think I first came across Ravenloft as a teenager and decades later I am still into it.

Excellent and steady work, all around!
QtR must by now be one of the longest continuously running zines in the hobby, and it still shows no sign of tiredness.

Great! But where is the netbook itself? I've been refreshing the site all day and haven't seen it

Bless you!
Will there be a reviews thread, or should they go here?

Re: Release of Quoth the Raven #25 !
Echem. A few small nitpicks about my article...
My name is not "Mroark".
Somehow, it seems an older version was used that does not include the magical item called 'the Ring of Ebon Dark' and info on Camille's favourite Ring of Mimic Mortal.
On page 109, the comments by Ciska's "co-author" are partially illegible. ^^;

Mroark sounds pretty cool though. I should write that down.Rock wrote:My name is not "Mroark".

Coming to that, the title of my second article should be "100 Shades Darker". And there are some errate in the first article (e.g, the first character's name is not emphasized). Haven't checked the other one yet. But I don't want to be too picky

Eek! It appears that my article on the death knight is an early draft of the mechanics.

I think there is a curse when you are named Your name was OK until the very last iteration of the netbook, when this suddenly appeared.Rock wrote:My name is not "Mroark".
Blame the gremishkas.

OK, I see a glitch in my procedures where this fell. Sorry about that.
When you have the time, please send me the article and highlight in yellow those two parts that are missing.

Wait, are you sure? Because I did reassemble the battle section a lot, and moved the parts under larger sub sections.tomokaicho wrote:Eek! It appears that my article on the death knight is an early draft of the mechanics.
