Delight is to him- a far, far upward, and inward delight- who against the proud gods and commodores of this earth, ever stands forth his own inexorable self.

Casting Magic Circle against Evil in the boat.
"Of course," Benn mutters, "It would be a damned shame if we ever knew what the hell was actually going on."

First post. Woot!
Glad to be coming aboard, gang. They won't all be text walls ... just wanted to make sure she got a descriptive introduction.

Note:
uncover the spoiler text only if:
1 your PC is trying to catch what's being said, and is remaining silent for a bit, intent on the stranger and her mount
and
2 you can make a successful DC 15 Listen check
and
3 your guy speaks Sylvan
Otherwise you hear nothing intelligible from the unicorn.

The mists no doubt conceal details, but you are pretty close now.
Feel free to describe your characters if you like. It might just be "man in a cloak with stubble' or it could be more detailed. Some things, like a big sword, are going to stick out.

I am going to assume we split the money as indicated, and Klokulf will let Alain take the gems if he makes that case. Klokulf will try to reclaim them when the time for sale comes, given his earlier responsibility for selling the Governor's necklace.Lord Skybolt wrote:I don't think that will be necessary as Alain has a Bag of Holding he can just put them in with no trouble at all . Also Alain is much less Squishy than he may look to be and alot more optimized for discouraging would be thieves from taking stuff from him .Wolfglide wrote:Since we have 700 gp in coins, we could divide that among ourselves more or less immediately. I believe that would be divided by six (116 gp each with a remainder of 4 gp), unless I miscounted the number of PCs or any of the NPCs are getting a cut. If Tonio gets anything, Klokulf is going to look bad.ewancummins wrote:Klokulf has been acting as treasurer for the groups travel funds and undistributed treasure.
Then again, maybe you don't want to divide the loot. Group funds?
That's entirely up to you guys.
The remaining 1802 gp in stones can be held until they can be sold. If Klokulf is holding them, make sure to take his haversack off of his corpse when we have to flee from the dragon.
Does that sound agreeable?
From where do these coins come? Are most coins around Moonsea acceptable as Zhentish, or will these be subject to exchange rates?
Given that unicorns can detect evil, I am going to guess something along the lines of, "I don't trust that creepy guy with the ring with the green stone."ewancummins wrote:Note:

Hehheeee
Maybe, maybe not.
Anyone with ranks in the skill may make a knowledge: Arcana check.
No ranks for this party and its world/s of origin='Unicorns? Those are real?'

Re: LOST TRAILS OOC
Note, I have described NPCs and Sir Clive (who is effectively an NPC as his player is MIA/very busy for now).
I will leave it up to players to describe their own PCs if they like.

He won't attack, immediately.
History prefers legends to men. It prefers nobility to brutality, soaring speeches to quiet deeds. History remembers the battle and forgets the blood. What ever history remembers of me if it remembers me at all, it shall only be the fraction of the truth.
