After finding the treasure and securing it, the party is able to locate the cow, wandering in the dungeon.
Alain steps in when the frightened animal shies away from Lara and Karll, and, catching hold of the halter, brings the beast to heel with surprising quickness.
The spell-slinger leads the animal up the stairs, going slowly and carefully with Karll helping from the rear. It's exhausting work, but the men get the job done.

Kerillith elects to remain in the gloomy tunnel, out of the bright sunlight. A quick division of treasure leaves her apparently satisfied with her cut, most of it raw gold. She suggests that the group might see her again after sundown, if it wishes to continue this alliance. If not, then farewell.
