I've seen anime like this. Fighting Foodons and the Big Mom story arc in One Piece and such.

I feel like Big Mom and Whole Cake Island could be retooled to Ravenloft with enough effort. As for a food based Terror Track, the ooze ideas were already put out there, but there's also the capacity to look at monsters known for their gluttony, like ghouls and other 'hungry dead'.
