Happy New Year!

Well, the idea is that I provide it here so that someone can learn the information in-game, without specifically looking for it. It sure is easy to confirm as true, but I wanted rumor "1" to provide info on each city's government.

Finally, some Pont-a-Museau rumors to start the year!
  • d20 Rumor
Jacqueline Renier is the patriotic steward of Richemulot and richest aristocrat in the capital. She sponsors the Casques Silencieux watch company, who always cover their faces.
Although the Casques Silencieux are the police of the beloved Jacqueline Renier, there are some groups that get into fiery conflict with them. The offenders are probably gangsters.
A riot made up of laborers and workers clashed with the Casques Silencieux a couple of weeks ago. A few of the rioters were killed. The Duscule family has been asking for justice for these victims.
A monstrous serial killer stitches their victims into tapestries. The creature is rumored to be hiding in the sewer. Proved monster hunters are requested on Isle Delanuit.
There’s a community of halflings in the city. They often work as chimney sweepers. Human locals often whisper that halflings are organized criminals.
The sailors in Port LaPierre sing that a beautiful elf with an amber sword landed on the port recently.
A monster is said to haunt the Touring Fields. It is blamed for slaughtering passing caravans and travelers. The locals call it Wolfshadow.
Half the population claims the Railway Station in the Narrows simply appeared, along with the railway itself, a few years ago. The other half claims it’s been there through their entire lives.
The Grand Theater includes a play or musical, small and grand, each day. Lately, its patrons have been talking about an enchanting actress performing Mademoiselle Ratemasque.
Recently, a number of University professors and workers went missing, without leaving any note or trace.
The Fat Black Rat is considered the best inn in the city. It attracted a large number of gamblers, but after a recent brawl got out of hand, gambling was prohibited inside the inn.
The sewers of Pont-a-Museau make up a labyrinth of canals, where filthy rats nest. Sewer sections collapse and are rebuild often; Consequently, all maps of the sewers are somewhat inaccurate. People even say that there are canals accessible only from a single entrance each.
There’s a quiet inn that looks like a flower shop on Isle Triatrise. It’s also said to be a bar that quiet people like to frequent.
A small Vistani caravan, accompanying an exorcist of some sort, arrived in the capital some time ago. They’ve been here for quite a while, which is rare for them. Locals whisper they’re staying because of shady business.
There’s talk of some skilled painter in the city, called Henri Milton. His grotesque paintings spark debates among artists and critics. Henri’s models often wound up dead; the authorities suspect that the culprit is some crazed fan or jealous artist.
Wails can sometimes be heard from inside the Thankless Purgatory. The Crimson Suns ensure everyone there are mad prisoners, but some people believe there’s ghosts haunting the prison.
There’s a clock tower that’s also a mill north of the Touring Fields. It’s occupied by a religious cult obsessed with time. A few people whisper that the cult worships the living dead.
Some locals say they’ve seen a white-haired fairy with long ears near the Violet Auditorium in Estus. Suspicious individuals warn that fairies are known to be secretive and self-serving.
The Restaurant on the Island of Loss is said to cook Richemulot’s most iconic delicacies. It’s located near an affordable inn called the Smoking Tallow.
Re-roll the d20 twice, ignoring and re-rolling further results of 20. The character learns each rumor.
