Is it my idea only or the shadow spells are a bit strained?
I mean 20% extra real? Just for a weak hostile shadow?
Greater Shadow conjuration is already a powerful 5th lvl spell, along with the 20% extra damage it becomes a very powerful spell (like the 6th lvl spell shades) and what's the drawback? The balancing factor?
About 50% of the time a 5HD shadow (CR 3 - 4) appears and attacks a probably prepared 9th+ level wizard probably with a couple of allies.
What about Simulacrum? A 15th lvl caster can make a 10th level caster with the possible threat of a 7HD shadow that will be created (50%) where and when the Simulacrum dies.
