My head hurts. It is 20.36 here in Greece and I have to log off now.

I hope I'll not find all hell let loose when I return.
PS. What did the detect magic spell show?

PS2. We had quite many VERY powerful mages in the FoS. While Balfour de Castelle is out of comission for some time, the rest 5 Fathers would probably be 15th level illusionists or more. There are many things a 15th level illusionist can bring, especially with the +20% power of shadow spells.

Much necromantic magical energy around van Rijin.
A few enchantment spells on various people that may or may not have been dispelled by the break enchantment spell that was fired off (player's option on which side they want).

Assume my character wasn't enchanted at all, and he will keep out of the fight as long as I'm away.

Two spells

1 Trobriand’s Crystalbrittle. From CoS Waterdeep. Buchvold knows this spel due to haveing baught the book it was contained in from an outlander .It turnes stuff into glass

2 silent Magic missile, to break the glass. Not sure if it could , but it's good drama.

Would I be right in assuming that Gertrude would hear the magical shout? And just to clarify my poor sense of direction and geography, that particular battle was happening above her head, to her right (assuming she's standing beside the stairs nearest the armoury)?

Lookin' at the map the library door (and fight) is up the really big staircase and through some doors. Pretty much up and to the right.

I have no problems with it as long as it only carries a reasonable amount of ammo and isn't some silver bullet launching monstrosity.
