Fifty Dark Movies: A Game

Post by Malus Black »

To promote M&M's new dark chocolate, they've made a fun little game, where the point is to solve visual puzzles and find fifty dark movies in a large picture. Might be fun for the horror movie fans on the boards (not that all the movies are horror movies, some are dark in title only), which I guess is pretty much everyone. Be warned, though, that some of the movies are fairly obscure, and not all the puzzles make sense until you actually see the answer.

Cool.

Virgin did something similar a while ago with bands.

cool. The painting is surprisingly creepy. I only got 20 before giving up. But I may go back. (The 7 and the O's are killing me).

You might just be overthinking it. Trust me, they're more simple than you imagine.

Made it to 31 before I got bored.

The Seven speaks for itself. :)

An O is sometime an O but then again there is no ring of truth to that :)

If you think that's lame, just wait till you figure out the one with the M&M juggling coins. It's up there with the worst puns ever. :D

I finally finished it, but I have to say that too many were just plain lame. There are one or two that way too obscure to be up in this day and age.

I'm up to 28. I'm embarrassed by how long it took me to get the giant baby with the plants growing out of it, since that's one of my favorite horror movies . ..

What the heck is that guy in the corner supposed to be, if it's possible to explain without giving it away? Is his head a cigarette, or what? The only thing I could think was that it was supposed to be a bowling pin and it was a really convoluted way of getting "Hellraiser," but that wasn't it.
