General D&D site

Hi,

the other day as I was looking for some free introduction to the D&D game to give to some friends, I stumbled on a site that had a listing on its left site of all the past (A)D&D settings and where apparently one could sign up to enter an online game of some kind, probably PbP.

I've spent more than an hour today looking for it again and I can't find it. Might anyone know what site is this?
