Need a reference from MotRD

I remember when perusing the MotRD book that there was a reference to a book that retrace clothes troughout the history.

Since I can no more find the MotRD book and I start to try to draw Ravenloft character, I would appreciate if someone could give me this reference.

I post here too since it seem that the MotRD isn't as frequent.
