Changeling The Lost

Post by Algaris »

I've been looking at this quite a lot lately, in the shops and online. I just wondered if anyone here has played it, or knows anything about the system.

Is it similar to the Ravenloft in that you need the core rule book to use it, in this case (new) The World of Darkness book?

I have it and yes, you need the nWoD book to play it. It is not stand alone. It is quite a good buy BTW.

Changeling the Lost is amazing.

I fully recommend it. I'd write a proper review, but it's late...

Maybe later in the week...

I like it a *lot* better than Changeling the Dreaming, I'll tell you that. (My friends' LARP owes more to CtD though.)

Changeling: the Lost is one of the only NWoD I haven't gotten to look at yet. I'll be writing up full reviews of Werewolf: the Forsaken and Mage: the Awakening soon though.

Rumors of my death are mildly exaggerated. I got better.

Just got it for Christmas and it is AWESOME.

Although I'm not really into the courts, the breeds are fantastic (gores, elementals etc.), although I was taken aback by Miami being the "starting city" so to speak for the campaign.

IMO it's one of the best nWoD games out there. Not the best but a second best for many people.

I mean everyone I ask has either vampire or werewolf or mage first... but most have changeling as a second. :)

Speaking as a fan of the original Changeling....

...Lost is dark, horrific, and just freaking awesome. One of the best WoD games ever, old or new.
