Exactly.
This is very normal for the games here at the Café, but I will recklessly kill anybody off who does this in my game,
for the simple reason that the nature of this scenario doesn't permit this kind of freedom.
Communication, is, of course, allowed, and colourfully explaining your own character's action in the scene I outline is obviously what the game is about for you.
Also, minor admonishment: Zilfer, you are an acolyte of the Eternal Order, right?
That means you have about as much charisma as Osmund at the end of the movie Black Death.
(If you haven't watched that movie, watch it.)
That means, no fraternising with infidels, no friends, no life quality. You are a templar-like warrior monk worshipping the essence of death.
People are made to be ruled. And you rule them.
In short, no cuddling.

Sense motive 15:

Raf, what about my knowledge checks? I know I rolled low but still...
Is anyone hurt in the room?

All faiths are open to interpretation, and I've not seen the movie the black death xD.
But yes an Acolyte of the Eternal order, and unfortunately, to get people to ‘see’ your side of religion you need to “fraternize” with infidels. Though I definitely expect a lot of odd looks when you worship a “pantheon” of “Death gods.”
Anyone worshiping, Cyric, Kelemvor, Anubis, Jergul, Nerull, and any of the other deathish gods you can think of. I definitely wouldn’t trust them! xD I did notice the order itself is quite more leaning towards evil, which is fine by me. Depending on what happens Ammanas might go from his current good willed ideals to something more sinister. That is of course as you remind us, if we survive. xD
Oh and i'll keep in mind no shifts in setting.

Listen Check!
[dice]0[/dice] +3
Spot Check!
[dice]1[/dice] +3
If Ammanas doesn't hear anything which i'm sure he won't, he'll want to check on the stables briefly to see if the horses are sleeping or just being very quite. Also looking out the window to spot if anyone's still moving about town.

I think you misunderstood, Zilfer.
I am your DM, telling you that if you want to participate in this game,
you need to align your character more closely with the published source material.
You now can choose to follow my guidance, or you can choose get the hell out of my game.
Are we clear?
Nobody refuses to follow my instructions, not even with "xD" in between. One-strike-policy applies.

Crystal. I wouldn't want anyone else doing in my game either.
Alright, so rework the current angle I am playing got it. I'll reread Gazetteer II when I get home and try to conform closer to the beliefs of the religion. I'm currently just running off that they worship death gods, and believe that the undead will take back the realm from the living. I seem to remember azalin having made it to control the populace correct? Thus it is a form of control, I didn't think the acolytes would have much pull in the government, though now I seem to recall it's "church and state" religion so maybe I would have more pull than I expect. It's offically on my to-do list before I play RE6 today after work.
If my smilies offend you I can keep it to a minimum. It's an automatic thing I've picked up from online forums over 10 years, I don't even notice I do it anymore.
Edit: Irony upon looking up the "Black Death" I find this is the movie my Girlfriend kept trying to get me to see solely on the fact it has Sean Bean in it. Read the synopsis and sounds like a good movie.

This movie is obviously a thriller but does it have much blood? I ask because I really cannot stand blood in movies it gets my stomach upside down etc. So I ask before watch it.

We have our pact, then.
For the record, this is nothing personal, by any means. I understand you guys have built your very special - and precious! - dynamics over here in the years since I stopped being all too active, but I am not a part of that. So, in this particular case, new game, new rules.
And, BTW, if you haven't, watch "Black Death". Legitimately good movie about the dark ages, though not, as marketed, a horror movie.
More, like, a serious, if simple medieval drama.

Raf-
Varian(followed the gnome, it seems-- good) is going to check on the animals in the stables.
He's going with full kit, just in case of trouble. There is obviously something bad going down in Otterly.

Ottery, like Samuel Taylor Coleridge's birthplace.
Might give you a hint where this is going, too.

As said before I'll probably be going to check the stables as well. Can't let anyone go alone somewhere. xD
