The Devil's Dreams OOC
Re: The Devil's Dreams OOC
If Alain was attacking Thom with the liquid death he is not flat footed because he has acted.
If Alain was just throwing the stuff against a wall and it happened to hit Thom, he IS flat footed against Thom.
If Thom is getting up from a prone position, he IS Flat footed for Zandor

Re: The Devil's Dreams OOC
Actually being prone does not make you faltfooted. Its you a -4 penalty to AC against Melee attacks. +4 AC against ranged attacks. A flatfooted character cannot make ranged attacks except with a loaded crossbow and have a -4 to attack with melee attacks.
Also I think we should the ultimate decision to Ewan if Thom's attack is a surprise attack or not.

Everline's wand is down 4 charges, BTW.
Note your reduced HP totals from Con loss on page 1 of this thread.
Thom is now dying . Alain is lightly injured.
Zandor coming up....

http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3063000/ 23 critical threat range
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3063027/ NATURAL 20!!! that confirms. for sure.
My idea is Zandor comes up from behind, impales Alain with his silver rapier with 1 hand and covers his mouth with his free hand.
Alain just got stabbed in the back.
Damage coming in a moment....
EDIT- 15 points more.

Well, it's the back of his head and neck. The damage was nasty, but he does have hair and clothing to protect him. It's not like he was hit in the face. Remember, Alain attacked from behind.

Alain after taking care of the "problem of Thom" moves back from him when he is backstabbed by Zandor .

Re: The Devil's Dreams OOC
Ewan if I am understanding my hp reduction right. When Thom was stablized he was negative 6 HP.
4 from Con Loss. Dropping him down to a max of 19.
4 Lethal from the liquid death and 15 non lethal from the mold. Which put him at 0.
Then add what ever the potion he drank gave him.
Minus the damage from Alain's spell.
Which puts him at -6.

Yes, he is at -6, but now stable because an NPC did first aid on him. He has also been dragged away from Alain. Rotwang and Toddlestone are shielding him.
