it is more a thing she wishes to have on her at all times. If he wants to give them up, no problems, if not it's okay too.

Those little illos fit my idea of fighting men in POVERO.

Don't feel restricted to that. It's a larger world, not just the one city state.

If Gertie can get marbles with Aldon's money then Tom will keep his in case he needs them.

He will also accompany Gertie at the fishing if she wants to, it's a new town and we don't know if it's safe to be out late.

She'll get marbles then. And Tom can accompany her to fish of course!

Clear weather, no trouble handling the boat.

Gertie catches 1d4 fish.

[dice]0[/dice]

It's a

1
Big old Grouper that nearly swamps the boat

2

Long Red Eel, a delicacy if cooked right

3

Goby or other common fish

4

Not a fish at all, but something strange...

[dice]1[/dice]

Grouper. A big one, for so close to shore.
It's maybe thirty pounds.

Anybody got cooking skill?

If not, you may just try to cook it anyway.

Or get somebody else, possibly at your inn, to cook it.

Gertie also catches some teensy smelt and some trash fish, but nothing else big. Just that fat grouper.

When you say marbles, you mean the marbles we used to play with when kids?
Those could be quite useful. If Fild is aware, he would ask Gertie to buy some for him. He will say "you never know when you need to place a few under a welcome mat for your pursuers to kiss the floor!"

Tarlyn and Van, if you want to write a narrative post of your nocturnal fishing trip, feel free to do so.

After Varrus starts posting again and everybody is caught up, I will put up Chapter Four.
