Shana gives Ironheart a slightly odd look, but chooses not to press any further in front of Rask

"Well... lets get going then!"

"Can you walk alone, or shall I carry you the way long?"

Ironheart sniffs.

"I am not so sure. All women I know are... Soft. You have muscles. Are you sure your fragile body will bear it. - I CAN carry you, if you want, though."

Ironheart and Shana

The clerics forwarded by the temple join them outside Rask's office, having given a formal statement to a clerk [nothing Shana doesn't already know]

Ironheart doesn't need to carry Shana, as it turns out.
The unlikely pair of investigators soon arrives at Morningmist hall.
Once at the temple, Shana and Ironheart are given additional information by one of the priests, a grim-faced fellow with a bald head that shines as if he waxes it.

Baldy references a ledger, rechecks the page and then tells Shana and Ironheart:

''We have only one unaccounted-for female guest- an elf woman who showed up just two days before the murders. She gave her name as Narisa Jihb and her profession as cleric of Lathander. My assistants tell me she had a strange accent- certainly not Cormyte- but no one who spoke with her can place it. She really didn't interact much with the rest of us- with two exceptions. She was seen speaking with Thumast Alfane the day before his murder- but we don't know about what. Mikam...''

Here the bald priest begins to lose his heretofore rigid control over his face and tears threaten to flow,

''...was the one who set her up with a room, food, etc. That was his duty, among other tasks, to care for guests and travelers.''
Delight is to him- a far, far upward, and inward delight- who against the proud gods and commodores of this earth, ever stands forth his own inexorable self.

After Threan does a through search of the crime scene he informs the rest of the investigators that it seems that there was no forced entry and it looks like it was opened from the in side . After informing them of these finds Threan goes to where a mouse is hiding near Blaise grabs it quickly after putting on a leather glove before it can get away . Holding up the cute little mouse he says out loud to no one in particular:"I wonder who's pet you are ."

"Family reunions aside," Blaise says to the group, "I find the timing of Murrik's illness - from a dog bite? - and the theft of the children a night or two later an interesting coincidence, and it could turn out to be exactly that. We can talk to Murrik and find out more about this dog later.

"Right now, I suggest we go outside and see if we can pick up their trail before, well..." He glances at Yorna, "...much more time passes. Agreed?"

the orphanage-

Yorna nods in agreement with Blaise.

''Yes, of course. How will you track them?''

"Precisely. I have been told the same thing. I know that this isn't actually a resurrection but the result is the same, Mystra is back, even in different body. I worship Mystra and I'm very devoted to her. My mom at the beginning wanted to make me cleric of her. But my dad had the insight that I was more for arcane than divine magic. So I have started studying arcane arts really young. My mom wanted to be sure that I could protect myself in case of need one way or another."

"I think that we should check outside this window for signs of what direction they may have took off in ." Pointing to the window with the hand not holding the mouse that was opened to let the "things" in . Threan answering Yorna's question . "So did anyone in this room have this as pet or is this mouse just an unknown occupant ?" Holding up the animal . Speaking to Yorna .

"So you are a mystic theurge Glim? Or you are actually both cleric and wizard?"

"It's not an order. A mystic theurge is able to cast both arcane and wizards spells. You have to fulfil some prerequisites though which I don't know because I have never actually been interested in that."

Alain concentrated for a moment, thinking if he had seen any children on his way through the building up to this room. Where they dressed alike or in uniforms? or did they where whatever clothes they could get for the children through donations or whatnot.

"Ma'am, I have to apologize as I am obviously not from around the area and am rather new. But has an abduction such as this ever occurred here at this orphanage?" He asks this without so much as looking at her as he makes his way over to one of the cots, producing the sock from beneath it, looking at it for anything out of the ordinary such as soil or anything else.
