Sara draws both her guns and says:

"Seems we are all ready, lets go then! Be careful where to step."

With that she moves forward paying attention to the wire and checking where she put her feet. She scans the area around her before making the next step.

As Sara Scouts ahead of the group she sees some thing interesting(1).

Sara holds her breath and freeze while the creature is talking with the other one. Then always hiding and silent heads back to the others and tells to the others:

"I saw 2 monkey-men. Is like they are waiting for us. The creature looks like nothing I have every seen before . It looks like it would stand about 3 ft tall if it was standing and was not hunched over on it's hands which sports claws just like it's feet also do . The creature is covered in stiff black fur . It looks like a cross between monkey and goblin with a twisted cruel face. It does not seem to be wearing any clothes as it is covered in stiff black fur. It does have net that seems to have a slight metallic sheen to it. Perhaps because it was tending to it when I spotted it .

Then it spoke towards another tree right above to another monkey-man. The other creature seems to screech at the other one to shut up . As that one shuts up after the short conversion between the two . When the "monkey men" talk to each other I spot the other one after taking some time looking and tracing the voice to it's the source in the trees.

I think we should go there but be ready, they might be more and they will attack us from the trees maybe with their net. I'll use my guns to them, who from you has a bow?"

"Since I have absolutely no use in combat, perhaps it would be best for me to remain a safe distance away. Once combat has ended I can attend to any of your wounds,"

"I don't think you should be left alone if you are of no use in combat, sir. Stay with us and at least if something happens, you will have some protection. I may look young and inexperienced but can handle my weapons just fine. Sis, what do you think?"

Dalorna looks and listens for a moment, making certain no money-men are close at hand, spying on the group.

She speaks in a whisper-

''I think that the professor should stay in the middle of our group where we can all protect him. Arnulf is right. If he hangs back by himself, the monkey-men may just go through the trees over our heads or around our backs and grab him while he's alone and vulnerable. I'm sure he wouldn't enjoy that.''

The Professor seems to mull over his thoughts for a few moments, before reluctantly agreeing with the others. "Yes, I agree. It would be best to stay in the middle of the group. Less chance of catching a stray arrow or rock that way.

"So, I will go there first again hidden and shoot at them with my guns, Alia will use her bow and guess all of you will make close combat. Be careful of the nets they might throw to us. Do all of you have daggers or other blades? I have one spare if anyone wants."

Arnulf looks at the blade and dagger in his hands when Sara asks her question. He mumbles to himself "I don't think these are toys.."

He holds back a retort to the rest of Sara's comment about the nets and turns to roll his eyes at Lorna, crossing his eyes. He turns and makes ready to follow the rest of the party, trying to keep the Professor near him. He whispers to the elder man. "Stay near me and if it gets hairy, keep near my sister and her friend, mister. She can heal you."

Arnulf's eyes are now very serious, expression grim. He is mumbling to himself, gritting his teeth. His eyes dart everywhere, concentration intent on his youthful face.

Alia follows quietly, her dark eyes wide with nervousness, staring around at the trees as if they might attack at any moment, still watching behind and above in case of ambush

The Professor smiles at Arnuf, "Do not worry my stalwart body guard. Should danger arise I will make quite sure to provide myself with ample cover, less fleeing becomes the most suitable option."

Isidar says to everyone, “I do not fear battle, but since I am making such noise with my armor I shall position myself towards the back. I do not want to alert the monkey-men of our presence when we may be able to surprise them.” Turning to Sara she adds, “Please give us a signal when we are near the monkey-men."

''Let us all move forward and ambush the monkey-creatures. Professor, could you please watch our backs as we approach? Keep glancing up, checking the trees. There might be more of the little beasts, lurking in the woods near to us. Don't kill them if you don't have to, Arnulf. We should try knocking them out, if possible. If we have a prisoner, we may gain some information or a bargaining chip.''
