Not really, is bellow average! Is 10 d6 empowered soundlance. The damage should have been around 80!

Well, these little guys are nasty, but he failed his save and took full damage. It was enough, that's all I'm saying. YOu blew him the hell up, as they say.

Guess 64 damage was enough lol.

But Ewan for the next time soundlance does 1d8 not 1d6, I was wrong. I just checked it again in Spell Compedium.

It's okay, I looked it up at the same time!

I adjusted downard, but that failed save and full damage was still enough to toast the little creep.

I see that Ken is online ...perhaps Bliase will take an action?

I hear that the Fane of Myrkul is the up and coming temple in Marsember. They've got a great hiring policy, too!

combat note- Glim just used an attack spell on one of the two nasties left in the room with threan and the kids.

Glim slips into the left side of the room, so as to be well out of the way should Ino launch another power attack spell. The gnome speaks a few words and suddenly begins to glow with a softly pulsating golden light. The two undead monsters in the room hiss and cower before the brightness. Threan's brother now raises his hands and points both at the creature nearest to him. Two golden rays spring forth, drawing with them all Glim’s mantle of light. The twin rays strike the undead creature, doing great damage to it- but failing to destroy it.

What spells are these? Glitterdust and scorching ray?

Also Threen is wizard! Unbelievable!

Read the post carefully it said that Threan's brother cast's a spell . The spell is probably Light of Mercuria . It is a 2nd level Wizard/Sorcerer/Cleric spell from the Spell Compendium . There is two other light spells one of 1st level the other 3rd level they do reasonable damage versus most things for their level, but do twice that versus Undead and evil Outsiders .

For what Threan does . Right before he attacks the one that his brother hit with the rays he activates his Mithralmist Shirt with a swift action . If that kills it in one hit then he will attack the other one with his remaining attack on the other one .

The Mithralmist Shirt effect is to fill his space with a billowing silvery mist that grants concealment but does not interfere with his vision .

Attacks for these are :1. 29 to hit . Damage if he hits is 17 points of damage minus any DR this damage is magic/slashing typed .
2.Next attack is a 20 to hit . If that hits then damage is 15 magic/slashing dam. -DR .

Ewan you may describe how he does these things in the IC Thread .

Those spells -- Light of Lunia/Light of Mercuria -- are awesome anti-undead attacks. I reluctantly relented during my own Ravenloft campaign and allowed my friend's cleric PC to have them. She was a priest of the Morninglord, after all...
