Guess I should introduce myself. I am Steve. I have been on the site since 2006. I am 47 yrs old and pretty much played every edition except for 4th or even 5th. I haven't played much PF online and do play a Real Life PF game. It's in Ptolus.
As you have seen above my pc will be an ex-Talon from Falkovnia. I actually haven't looked yet, but I was wondering if there is a soldier class somewhere.

Steve and I are both are involved with another campaign on here, the one about the Carnival.
Steve politely asked through PM if this was a game composed of old tabletop friends. I told him yes but I invited him to join us.
I thought it would be nice to have a "native" of this environment join our game. Besides he is a great character actor in the Carnival campaign and many others.

I'm probably going with a human oracle/cleric type combo. I will have to call Jay sometime today to go over background particulars and perhaps settle on a deity or at least religous order......My original concept was a priest of Kelemvor that has no idea who the imposter in all the Kelemvor statues scattered around the lands is. It would have been both funny and ironic as well as set up for an interesting potential rivalry should this un-named character ever escape and make his way to Sigil. Leith has quite the hubris to be parading around as the very God he claims to worship (from this guys perspective)!

No soldier class archetype per say, but plenty of options for a fighter, perhaps the tactician or dragoon. If he was once a talon he would have been at least 6 levels higher at one point. Perhaps in the last Dead Man's campaign he lost several levels to some undead. That would be "enough" to "change" most people.

Hello Steve,
I'm Matt, 33 and have played some 2nd, 3rd, 4th and Hackmaster. I run a Kingdoms of Kalamar campain that has been on hiatus while i attempt to figure out which rule system I prefer....I'm not thrilled with Hackmaster which is the default system for Kalamar. Anyway it's nice to meet you!

Tarlyn and I recently got a little better acquainted.
Zilfer, Lemme get back to you on that. Might in fact be full at this point. I'm still waiting to hear back from a couple of my old buddies on here that haven't appeared on this thread yet. I'm sure we could fit you in as a guest player at some point, at the very least though.
Everybody meet Zilfer. He's another player from the Carnival campaign.

Nice name Tarlyn.
Zilfer, you are in, but we don't need any more players. The group is full enough. Six PCs total once my cousin
Ryan and his girlfriend Marykate join us, as I hope they will. What do you think you wanna make?

Well we all roll dice using the honor system of course as we like the old school method.
So roll 4d6 subtracting the lowest die roll for each stat. If you have another method you would prefer that is fine too as long as it is balanced. The hope with my preferred method is that you guys will get lucky but then again it could go horribly.

I believe that everybody isn't created "equal" in real life so I allow character stats that reflect this.

Sounds good I'll get my dice out.
This is Hanz btw:
I wouldn't mind discussing with you a bit about his background.
