Café de Nuit

Dalorna grabs the monkeymen's nets before she follows Arnulf.

Alia stays close to the Professor and Arnulf, looking reassured that the monkey-men were felled by weapons, and even slightly excited. She watches the trees, crossbow levelled.

As the party goes towards the screams that may be possible reinforcements . They hear high pitched voices coming their way seeming to be speaking to each other . Sara recognizes the language if not the words as those used by "Guards" . The creatures seem to be 1 to 3 minutes away and closing fast as the sound of their voices gets closer and closer as the party goes towards the creatures .

OOC> Pressuming Alia tell us what she hears

IC> "Then I suggest we get organized for their attack, is better be prepared because for sure more of them will come now. I'll hide and aid you at the right opportunity."

OOC: What?

IC: Alia steps behind a tree and, using it as cover, levels her crossbow at the approaching noise

Dalorna shakes her head.


''If they are still a couple of minutes away, and it sounds like they may be- why wait here? We don't know how many they are- an ambush might prove most unwise- they could overwhelm us. I say we circle around them, try to get in their rear. If we are lucky, those re-inforcments are coming from their village or stronghold- if such beings have a central living area. That might, I stress might, be where they are keeping the children. ''

"I think is risky. Not all of us are stealthy and we don't know the forest. If we move around they might hear us and get ready for us. Also we might be lost in forest, we don't have a ranger and we don't know where is their village. They will keep looking for us if they don't find us to the spot. And they can climb to the trees where they can hide and surprise us. I think is better stay there where at least we can prepare ourselves and wait for them hidden and having cover."

''I'd be happy to stay here and discuss tactics, but those things will be on our position any minute now. We don't have time for a long discussion. I'm going, gods help me, and good luck to you all if you remain here.''

With that, Dalorna moves off into the woods, setting a path that she hopes will lead her around the rear of the oncoming monkey-men.

Alia hesitates, and looks to the professor for guidance. Once he's made his choice she sticks close to him, still eying the trees.

The Professor gives Alia a humble smile. "I am sorry my child. There are others here more duly suited for devising tactics. I do believe the young woman who just ran off by herself will not last on her own. Despite the disadvantages we represent as far as being able to move about undetected, it may be even more unwise to separate."

Isidar says, “Delorna is right, we must leave to make a better tactical advantage for ourselves. Who knows what these morogh can do? We are safer together. Please hurry and join us, friends.” With that she turns and walks after Delorna, trying to be as stealthy as possible in her scale armor.

As Dalorna and her Arnulf moves out in a circle fashion from were the Sara took out the "guards" . But still farther into the forest and the supposed direction of the children . The rest of the party reluctantly follow along after the duo . After about 2 minutes of walking in a circle path farther into the forest they all hear a several piercing screams of outrage from were they just were .

Sara sighs and nods at Professor's and Alia's words.

"You are right. Lets go."

When she heard the screams she says in low voice:

"They arrived where we were before. Now please try to be as silent as possible while walking because they will start looking for us."

Dalorna looks at Sara and slowly raises one finger to her closed mouth. She nods twice, then keeps walking- as quietly as she's able.

Sara nods and keep moving as silent as she can trying to also be hidden while walking.
