Regardless, he would trust her with his life at the drop of a dime because he knows that she does have a good heart and will do the right thing if pressed to it.
I really do not want you to take offense to any of this
I am certainly not going to take offense.. that would be deeply childish.
Still, I think he is confused. She the exact cause of her dislike of Threan is that she DOES consider others views. However, she is not prepared to put up with them when they are roundly evil, even when they represent a small part of them.
As for doing the right thing, she doesn't have to be pushed to it, she has to be pushed hard not to! However, I suspect Alain and she have rather different views of right. She was horrified, for example, at the casual attitude of the Watch team to the framing and murder of an (admittedly rather repellent) commoner to protect a murdering noble (as it appeared at the time). It was that that put paid to her cooperation with Marsember law! Also, she has a very cynical view of nobles and the rich, and hence of the law they write. She views the law as generally written by the rich, for the rich and pays it little mind. As such, she views law enforcers as essentially enforcers to keep the rich rich and the poor pliant. She doesn't view cooperation with them as "right".

Hey, Ewan:
Had Jamethon been corrupted by what was going on? He seemed a more eager participant in the militia's harsher tactics as time went on.
One more note, since this session is over: Blaise and Shana did, as they used to say on
Farscape, "recreate" between chapters
a while back. (Sorry to kiss and tell, Kintire!)

By the way Threan is not evil at all . Just ask Ewan . But I'm not telling you his exact alignment though . And I still think that Jamethon and Threan thinks that Shana thinks that what ever she does is good and what other people do is evil even if this is not true at all . Remember NPC's are people too . At least the one's in Marsember .

As of now, Jamethon has not been 'corrupted' more than he already was.
As a LN character, he's got no problem fighting fire with fire, or dealing with morally gray types to get the job done. If necromancy is legal- so be it. He doesn't have to personally approve of laws to enforce them. He took an oath.

I know they think that. But they're wrong. Shana tries very hard to act Good, she doesn't fool herself into believing its easy. And when she calls something evil, she's generally right.
Jamethon and Threan, however, were confusing Good with Lawful. They are not the same, and in a Lawful Evil tyranny like marsember, often actively opposed.
Remember NPC's are people too
And when did she forget that? Quite the opposite: she knows this far better than Threan. The guy who was murdered to take the rap for Delthrin was a person. So were those Ghouls, once. Not much care for THEIR fate from the Gnomish contingent I notice!

Why you still discuss on that? The game is over, if there is a sequel there will chance to sort all these things out lol. Till then guess I'll join Ewan's game if he wants me, need a PbP game to pass my time

Because the game was excellent, the RP very compelling, and Threan won't be in the next one because his player will be running it

No, Jamethon didn't confuse
law with
good- he just didn't care much about good in the abstract.

This is a man who summoned
hellhounds
to attack Jarg, when Jarg tried to kill him. Trust me, he had no illusions about hellhounds being misguided and misunderstood. He knew that they were
evil- and he didn't care, because it
got the job done.

Also, no one was murdered to take the rap for Delthrin.
Delthrin was not guilty.
Delthrin had
absolutely nothing to do with the framejob. That was Lord Ildool and your good buddy, Watch-Captain Rask.

Oh I'm aware of that. But they THOUGHT he was guilty, and they murdered some guy to cover it up.
And no one except Shana seemed to even notice, much less care!

They weren't framing us. They got nervous because the investigation of the beheadings seemed to be pointing to a rich person, and they couldn't have that. So they took some guy they had arrested for another reason, declared him guilty, murdered him so it never came to trial, declared the case closed, and sent you lot off after the smugglers.
A piece of sharp practice that had even Delthrin and the Bailiff thinking twice!
