Add +3 to those damage from Spec and Str .

Sixt will move to let the missile weapon using party members a more direct line of fire by moving to guard the front since the guards have retreated .

Yep, added spec.

That's what made the difference.
If your guy weren't a specialist, or more attacks by others had missed...

These guards were tougher than normal , and more skilled at fighting.

unmodified 19 hits AC 1.

Even with the substantial protection afforded by cover and concealment, that's a hit.

Gondolier morale check (his current position makes him an easy target)

Alhoon, check your hit points.

Your guy took 8 from a sword blow.

Whatever he lost previously, to the dogs and Houndmaster.

Let's compare counts.

And note--he has been stabilized, so he's not in a death spiral. The cleric used herbalism to help him out.

Overwhelmed again, I'll catch up tomorrow probably.

HP: 8 hp? He's down.
I don't even have to check. I had like 6-7 remaining after the dogfight. I think someone smacked him too before that hit (haven't checked the OOC after Aldron's men made their play). So probably at 5 hp before that damage, at most 7 if he hasn't been hit except by the houndmaster.

If someone wakes him: Fild will fight to defend his buddies. He will go after Aldron if everyone is out of immediate danger (no dying allies, nobody overwhelmed) and there are no immediate enemies left standing. He will try either engaging Aldron, overturning the boat or use a missile or thrown weapon if there are any in reach against Aldron. I assume the arquebus is unusable here.

Arquebus is most likely wet.

Fild's KOed.

That actually works out fine with you being very busy IRL.

Possible actions noted.

Chance the arquebus fell into the water and was soaked to temporary uselessness is 3 in 4. On a 4, Gertie saved it from the drink or it otherwise didn't get so wet it won't work.

Okay, so the match got wet, and likely a powder charge, too.

He doesn't buy it. That penalty.

But it does give him pause.

Wastes a little time.

When he tries to use his sword to slow the boat, the prisoner attempts to flip forward.
