The Professor listens to the others as they toss theory back and forth while he considers his own ideas as to what happened and no matter the scenario none of them present a favorable outcome. On the one hand he has to start from scratch in his long quest to find a cure for his condition. Then on the other hand since he had arrived to this strange land he has felt his condition improving.
There was something else important here as well. A great opportunity to study planar anomalies first hand. Of course that was only one theory. He had spent years teaching theory at the university The odds were incalculable that he may have actually managed to leave his home plane let alone his home planet. The odds where definitely in the favor of the theory that he and his fellow adventurers had merely run afoul of some magic that had transported them to some other corner of the world. One not commonly known in his homelands.
Regardless of what lie ahead it promised to be very important in regards to formal study and without a doubt interesting.
"Maybe the villagers will be able to help us find our way. I was travelling with Dalorna to Marsember on my way to Tilverton. That city was destroyed in the wars and I go to rebuild it in the name of Gond! Have any of you heard of Tilverton?" Isidar asks.
This strange place seems to be far removed from Marsember and Tilverton. By what means we arrived here I know not. But, it may be a golden opportunity to spread the word of Gond...

Professor Aumnoir gives Sara a bewildering smile before adding his own thoughts. "Don't worry child, I have a feeling the answers we are presently seeking will be revealed to us in short order."
Arnulf is all for finding out what is going on, but for him it is not a priority like say the Professor or Lorna. Who cares how we got here, anyways. We can't do anything about it standing here and talking about it. If we find an answer in the village, so be it. If not, then we can maybe find a bigger city with more people and thus a better chance to get information.

As the party makes the comes within site of the village at last . All the children sprint for the village to their waiting parents . Their mothers pick them with tears of joy in their eyes, as their fathers look on with stoic calm . Their eyes full of joy at the return of their young if looked at closely .
Some one that seems out of place to the rest of the village stands to the side looking on with interest at the proceedings . The old man does not seem to be of the village by his looks and manner as he shorter than all the men and even some of the older boys of the village . He looks to be in his 50's at least .
Arnulf walks over to the older man. His demeanot is nonthreatening and friendly. "Hello. My name is Arnulf and back there are my sister and our companions. We rescued the children from the apemen. My sister and I are from Marsember. As you, we are not from around here.
Can you tell us how to get back home?"
Sara cannot help her smile when see the women of the village hug their children. Her smile turns is a puzzled grin though when notices the strange man. She walks towards him but doesn't interrupts Arnulf, she waits patiently the man's replies.

The Professor slowly makes his way towards the awaiting villagers contented with the satisfaction of a deed well done. These young wayward adventurers were truly a blessing and would be beyond valuable companions to have along what he was soon believing to be a long quest home.
Professor Aumnoir watches the group from a descent distant behind as they make there way over to the out of place character who looked to be around the professors own age. Perhaps he is a long way from home himself.
With interest beginning to ascend the Professor makes his way over to the rest of the party, smiling and acknowledging the excited villagers on the way as he does so.
Alia stays politely to one side, returning to the mule looking a little thoughtful. She will politely direct any gratitude to the rest of the party, though if anyone asks what happens sthey will get the ballad, or at least an abriged version.
Isidar looks proudly on the scene of the children reuniting with their parents to make sure that all the children find their parents. Then she turns and notices the foreigner and walks over to him, listening for his response to Arnulf's questions.
