Part of the mystery revealed. It probably would have been better if it hadn't been.

Dag, that man is
creepy.
Also, they still look like horns to me.

This seemed like a good spot for a short break. Be back Monday.

Very, very creepy... something. Ghost? Vampire? Guy who doesn't get enough sun?

A sith would be a better guess, but around these parts we call that an elf.
(Eladrin, if you're playing 4e.)

Whatever he is, that's a
beautiful full-page panel! As in "I want a print of that framed on my wall" beautiful.

In which we learn our heroes' escapades are taking place at 10 PM. Unless the eladrin's watch has stopped, or fey are in a different time zone.

This guy seems more like an unusually benevolent-seeming Sith to me. Ravenloft + faerie ears + fascination with the dead = ...?

I would like to go on a picnic with him.

He really is just an elf.
Or eladrin, depending on edition.

Indeed!!!
As I'm planning a Midnight Market visit IMC, I'll use this image in the encounters. This fey can tell anyone when they will die, but who wants to know?

Aha! The watch records "time of death", not the actual time. (Or maybe both? In the full-page panel it shows 10 AM/PM, then, when he's discussing the death of the unfortunate medic, it's showing time of death at 6:59...obviously it's a special mechanism.

Well shucks.

I'll have to do more of those. I had hoped that NPCs and stuff would make a good gm resource, but I guess the artwork is a better one.
I'll aslo have to revisit that one and touch it up... I know Deviantart does prints.
