That's the closest thing he has to a name. Epitaph.

I have said it before, and I will say it again, but your characters have a way with words.

Marie still has the best lines, I think, but Fred is edging up there pretty steadily.

Hey, sorry about letting the commentary fade on my part, I had some RL troubles.

Anyway, I want to give kudos for not making the guy some crazy super fairy-this is a great way of showing just how damn creepy even potential player characters can be in Ravenloft.

I have to agree with Doc. Reading the comments, my reaction went from "He's just an elf??!!" to "He's just an elf!" (in a delighted tone). Looks like he'll be a nice antagonist. I was actually thinking he might be an elven vampire. Also, I like how you broke up the wipporwill's call into almost a short dirge or a curse.

I've been on these forums for a while but thought I'd check this out, especially after seeing you'd be using Dementlieu (I'm about to start up a game in there). I plan on showing the first few pages you've got of Chapter 3 to my players so they have a better idea of what Port-a-Lucine and the Ezran church in Dementlieu look like.

Lastly, I've loved your posts with just a full color page (the one of Samedi and even more so for Epitaph).

Attention: As of next week I am moving the update schedule to twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays. If my schedule evens out in the future I'll go back to three times a week, but right now less update is better than none.

Sorry guys. :?

Aw. :(

I have to say, if Fred is going to spend his career as "Alanik Ray" hailing strangers into bushes by main force, it may be a short career.

Better to get some up than none.

(Am I the only one seeing the spark between Fred and Satine? I never know with this stuff.)

Heh. If the real Ray ever finds out what these two are up to, it'll be even shorter, because they'll be in for a serious tongue-lashing.

So it's the Borcans who are "frogs" in Dementlieu, huh?

BTW, never has the phrase "I'll be at the bakery" rung so sinisterly on the ear. :P ;)

I will never be able to tell my parents I'm going out for cannoli again without expecting howling wolves or a flash of lightning.

And yes, indeed, the "I'll be at the bakery" sentence is somewhat chilling for it seems impossible to avoid.

Ha! As if Fred hadn't already found enough ways to get himself in trouble, now he's gambling with someone who's bigger than him and just begging for a brawl....
